as my kids say, staying in a regular room is feels more like "renting magic", staying in a DVC room is living it.
we enjoy the non-DVC resorts, but have found that nothing (even concierge) compares to a villa for us. (then again, we find maid service a bit annoying ~ we don't make that big of a mess, & have no prob folding up the couch & pulling sheets up on the bed).
we don't vacuum (never needed to), throw towels in the wash in the AM then into the dryer upon return from the parks, keep the fridge stocked with cold drinks, snacks, & luncheon fixings.........
& the jacuzzi, HUGE bathroom, putting your feet up while watching TV & not kicking someone, being able to take ALL your clothes out of suitcases (& even put the luggage out of sight
), having coffee/breakfast or a late-night snack in your PJ's........
geez, i think we've become "DVC snobs"
