am I asking for something to go wrong...

Here is the situation:

I have 105 points left in my 2011 use year (june UY)

I am in ROFR for an add on contract that should go through ( fingers crossed) the end of this week. in this contract I have 8, 2009 points that expire may 31, 2011 and 150 points that were banked into 2011.

I would like to make a reservation for a short trip may 21-25, 2011 and I don't really care where I stay ( solo trip) (SSR would need 63 points)

Should I borrow the points from my first contract and make the ressie now?
Should I wait until I'm through ROFR and my points are in my account, ( first week in April I would guess)?

If I do use the the first contract, once the add on points appear in my account, will I be able to swap the points ( using up the 8 banked points that expire etc)

Am I asking for a point nightmare????

Once you borrow the points, they can't be put back in your June '11 year. I would wait.

If you really want to book, book all but one night, then use the banked points for that one night when they are in your account. Even if you have to waitlist, 1 night would probably come through.
