What time do the busses start running from Pop Century in the morning?

I need to get to a 7AM ADR at Contemporary one morning and a later ADR another morning (7:30, I think) at AKL. Those are not early opening days at the MK and AK, so wondering if I'll even be able to take the bus to those parks so early (so I can walk to CR and bus to AKL).

When making the ADRs today I was told that there are shuttles that run between the resorts...is that true? I know there didn't used to be, but doesn't mean they don't have them now.

We stayed at Pop Century in December and got a bus at about 7.20 am that went to the Magic Kingdom. We then transferred to the monorail to the Contemporary for our Chef Mickeys breakfast.

That bus driver told us that the first buses always leave Pop Century around 6.20 am, the next ones leave around 6.45 am, then 7.20 am etc. He said various buses will always take you to any character breakfast on the Disney property, even if you have an early 7 am seating. They will not leave you stranded. Just be at the stop a few minutes early. Tell the driver which breakfast you are going to.

The 2 earliest buses will usually take you straight to the door of the various hotels. As I mentioned earlier, the 7.20 am bus took us to Magic Kingdom where we transferred to the monorail.

Check with the bus info kiosk person at the theme parks or ask one of the daytime bus drivers to check for you. Most of the Dining Reservation people I spoke to on the phone did not even know these early buses existed and told me to get a taxi.

I also rang the front desk of the Pop Century the night before and a know-it-all woman incorrectly told me that the first bus was around 7.20 am. She also said you have to get a taxi if you have an early reservation, and did not believe me when I told her the earlier times the bus drivers had told me about.

I later complained about that woman to the front desk day staff and the guy told me that the day staff all know about the early buses. I told him that this woman is giving out wrong info to other people too, and he said he would tell the manager to make sure the night staff give out the correct info.

One of the bus drivers on this message board also explained about the early buses in this thread:

So don't believe anybody except the actual bus drivers! :earsboy:

You actually spoke to a Call Center... and yeah, they're clueless.

People would laugh when I told them never to trust transportation info unless it came from someone wearing purple pants... but it's so true.

Thanks for the info! I don't so much mind taking a taxi some places, but I don't want to have to do it for all my early morning breakfasts and the Segway tour or I'll ending spending as much on taxis as a little rental car would have cost.

When I was at Pop in Dec, as I sat there, dejectedly waiting for DME to take me away, I saw several buses at the bus stop for those early ADR's. I was picked up at 7 a.m., and sat there for about 20 minutes. So, the buses were very early.
And Chip and Dale Express (Tyler) is sooooo very right about taking bus info from anyone other than purple panted folks. I have heard so much incorrect info given that it boggles my little pea brain!!! No wonder people are wandering around clueless.
