As I posted last night....

Poor Shannon's mother has tonight been charged with child neglect and perverting the course of justice in connection with the kidnapping.
They [the police] are also investigating claims that family members and/or friends tried to gain funds from the McCann case by hassling the McCann's representatives............


I think the worst thing is the impact on the children and if it's true (remember she isn't found guilty yet, although I personally have no doubt) the impact on public perception. In the future when a child goes missing we are all now conditioned that little bit more to suspect the family.
This case is facinating now though, was Shannon in on it? Did the Mum visit her? Funny isn't it, my FIL suspected family involvement all along.
