DP and I may have 500 channels, but only watch a few of them. Was bored yesterday during lunch and stumbled across CH. 212 called Earth. This has been in operation now for nearly a year.
They put a camera on one of the DISH network satellites sitting at 22,300 miles above 110 Longitude and pointed it at the earth. The picture updates every 15 seconds or so and quite frankly it is pretty damn cool if not a little boring to watch. The music is nice though. Makes from cool time lapses though with Sun and moon movement.
