Alternative to a fresh floral bouquet?

Sorry if this is a silly question but have any of you Disney brides or soon to be Disney brides used an alternative type of bouquet such as a broach or silk flower bouquet? I am thinking of doing this mainly as I would have to leave a fresh floral bouquet in the US but I would really love to keep my bouquet if i could.
Any one else had experience of this?
I am currently thinking of making my own silk flower, lace and broach boquet but substituting broaches for Disney pins I already own to make it more personalised. Does this seem like a nice idea or is it too weird :confused3
Any advice or comments will be really appreciated :listen:

I'm having a silk bouquet, getting it from a company in Glasgow, UK called silk blooms, not only do I get to keep it, but I won't need a floral refresh for our magic kingdom shoot :)

Not weird at all! I've seen paper bouquets, feather bouquets, real-touch flowers, silk flowers, brooches, buttons and everything in between! What matters is that YOU like the way it looks. :goodvibes

Here's the paper bouquet I had customized by an Etsy seller for our recent vow renewal:

And here's a button bouquet I got a few years ago from Etsy just cuz it was our wedding colors...

I'm having the real flowers just because the are included in the package but in having a brooch bouquet made (with items from family members) for my reception back home!! My mum thinks its odd but I most definitely do not!!

I'm going to do a brooch boquette and my girls will have real flowers probably. I will probably use disney pins on their wraps though. Each girl will get 2-3 pins that I think represents them on the wrap, and then svoraski mickey heads.

That is a lovely idea with the pins!

That's a good point about not needing a flroal refresh for the MK photo shoot :) A great way to save more money :thumbsup2

Check out this website-I really like the button bouquet :)

Thanks, I really hope I like the way mine looks in the end. I love those bouquets especially the paper one, so intricate and pretty :goodvibes

I definitely don't think it's odd either. I thought of doing the same as you but then my DF I should use the bouquet I make for the ceremony as well to make it more special which does makes sense I guess. No idea what i'll do with the fresh floral one they provide though :sad2:

That is a lovely idea :) I'd love to do that but I won't be having any bridesmaids :( So i'm just gonna have to have pins in my bouquet instead I reckon :)

So I spoke to my family and DF about my disney pin bouquet idea and they liked it so we got started. I'm unsure if it's too unusual or not :sad2: I'm fine with being individual but I honestly have never seen a bouquet like this before so I'm making it up as I go along

Here is my main inspiration picture:

And these are the silk roses we bought:

And here is what we have made towards to bouquet so far:
I'm using a hidden mickey pin collection of princess flowers as well as a set of rose pins from the Love is Magical pin event in 2011. These pins open up as well to make it more interesting. We have tried to make the pins look like they are in a centre of a flower :rolleyes2

any comments/opinions would be appreciated :)

Aww wow they are so different and original, I think it'll look really pretty all together as a bouquet :) it'll be an awesome wedding keepsake too x

The bouquet is definitely coming along now, we've made all the flowers so now I reckon it will turn out lovely, fingers crossed :thumbsup2
I'd love to hear from anyone who has made or is making a bouquet similar to mine ::yes::
