Which is why I would never advocate for the attraction to change the soundtrack, regardless of whether or not a personal aural experiment via headphones comes to fruition!
I loved some of the ideas above. I'm also considering pieces such as The Moldau, selections from Pictures at an Exhibition, popular music choices such as We Are the World or something along those merits.
Interestingly enough, a little Internet research suggested that the tentative sound track was going to multiple national anthems simultaneously, but it was scrapped. It might be quite trippy to listen to Stockhausen's "Hymnen" (which is an experimental piece of electronic music that incorporates several national anthems). With that said, the conception is more interesting than I feel the execution might be (the work is really, really, really, "weird"!).
But, like I said originally, it's not about advocating for Disney to change anything, but rather more a personal quest/thought experiment of an alternate take for someone who spends a great deal of time in sound sculpting and studying the hermeneutic implications of pairing music with experiences!
