Strange things are happening to dis-teens!!!
We each went to bed last night like usual but when we wake up we are each shocked to find ourselves at a completely empty Disney World! It is an alternate reality! We can walk around any of the parks and if we want to go on a ride it will automatically start working as if invisible workers are running everything. There is no one actually there.
We don't see each other because each of us has our own empty Disney. Each day we can write a report about how we choose to spend our day. Do we just have fun or do we try to find a way out?? Where will you choose to sleep, eat, etc...
Here is my first day:
I woke up this morning at the entrance to the Magic Kingdom. No one was there. A bus sat waiting with the engine running. A sign above it said that it would take me to Animal Kingdom or MGM. Another sign informed me that I could take the monorail to Epcot. The signs were glowing a magical sparkly green.
I walked quickly to the entrance to find empty turnstiles and deserted ticket booths. "maybe I am still asleep" I said out loud. I knew I was awake. It felt very real. I walked down Main Street and went left to AdventureLand. I passed the Jungle Boats and went in to the Pirates of the Caribbean. The boats were moving and I stepped in to one. The usual skull warned me to turn back. I stepped out of the boat and walked among the animatronic people. I walked to the end and then headed toward the Haunted Mansion. I went right in and layed down in the stretching elevator. I tried to thing about what I should do. I left and tried to use a pay phone. An automated operator said "There is no one to help you. Please enjoy your stay." I wondered if I should just try to have fun and not worry about why I am here and if I will always be alone.
How is your first day at the alternate disney?
