What other sandles do people wear comfortably in WDW? I'm not a Crocs fan, but I don't think my feet will "breathe" in tennis shoes... Whats my alternative?

I am not a Crocs fan either but I am going to break and get a pair for our trip next week. I tried them on and they do feel really comfortable. I usually wear running shoes but they are hot and my feet still ache at the end of the day. Flip flops offer no support. I'm gonna try Crocs and give up style for comfort!

Before I found Crocs, I wore Teva sandals. For the most part they were comfortable and quick to dry after summer rain showers.

I too before crocs wore Teva (or similar) type sandals. But now I am purely a Crocs flip flop type girl. I love the canvas crocs.

THose LL Beans look cute...but I'm leaving for WDW in 5 days!!!
Maybe I'll go over to REI and see if they have some TEVAS or something..I had some when I was a lifeguard and really liked them.

I've gotta tell you if your going to REI to look at Keen shoes. I just got some this weekend and they are very comfortable. Give those a try on!!

I've worn LL Bean Summer Sneakers my last 2 trips. They are great!

For Ladies they have 2 different styles...

Mary Janes

Lace-ups

Thanks for posting! The Mary Janes are adorable and would you take a look at the DIS green color!!

Do they run pretty true to size...did you have to go up or down in sizing?

TIA

My husband swears by the Keens. He wears them kayaking and at Disney.

Well...I'm a guy so wouldn't know about the ladies sizes...nor Mary Janes.

I actually have the Men's "Slip-on" version which they discontinued. :sad1:

Pretty true to size...I like to wear my ankle socks and I believe they are designed with a bare-foot in mind...they are not too small with the socks though.

I replied because I'm pretty much an anti-Croc. Hate those things. However DW and DS's love them.

My feet have been a mess since I had twins 14 months ago so I'm a huge fan of Crocs, even in the house. Unfortunately, Crocs are hideously ugly although some people manage to look cute in them (honestly, I'm not one of those people). As an alternative, Keens are nice. Expensive. But nice. I also wear Chacas, which you can get at REI. They're kind of like Tevas but I find they have better support. I had a pair that I wore constantly for three years and they would not wear out. I finally had to use a bad gardening experience to throw them out.

As you might imagine, my husband wishes I would occasionally wear cuter shoes.

I'm also a Keen shoes lover! They are so well made. you can even wash them in the washing machine and they will come out looking like you just bought them. Very comfy too!

Nike also makes a good sports sandal for men, called the Straprunner. Stores that have a large selection of Nike sneakers will usually carry them. They are competitively priced, usually under $50. Columbia also has a few sport sandals in about this price range.

Merrells, Keens are both great, though a tad pricey.

I gave up sneakers for Crocs at WDW (practically live in them at home) and what a huge difference! My legs were not sore or tired after several days in the parks. Only problem is the sweat and smell of my feet after being in them all day, and if they got wet, they squeaked like crazy. This July I'm going for a few days and will try out my Keens Venice H2 (should be here today). I like having my toes covered as I often trip over them or they get crushed under feet and strollers.

I loooooooove my Skechers Mary Janes. I have somewhat narrow feet, so I can't comfortably keep the Crocs on, but my Skechers can be adjusted slightly to fit tighter. I wear them practically every day and they are very comfortable.

Lisa
2 days til kids first trip!

We just got back from Disney yesterday and I brought my Birkenstocks, Keens and Crocs. I wore Birkenstocks the first day and my feet were hurting by the end of the day. On day 2 I wore my Keens and my feet felt heavenly, so I just wore them the entire trip. Try the Keens!
