As many of you know, I do digital scrapping, so my craftiness and supplies and knowledge of paper goods isn't near your expertise. So, I come to you with my question. I am getting a clipboard and I plan to print out something to adhere to it. What do I use to seal my paper? And what paper is best? Cardstock or plain white printer paper? My son loves using clipboards, so I would like it to last for him to use after the trip and perhaps even go on other trips with us next year. Also is any certain type of clipboard preferable for this type of project?

I plan to use it for autographs at WDW next month! :)

any clipboard will do. You want mod podge for the sealer and the glue. Use a foam brush to put a thin layer of Mod Podge on the board, adhere the paper and seal with 5-6 coats of mod podge.
thinner paper works the best or thin cardstock. I have never tried Bazzill but I think it would be to heavy.

Fran I'm going to hijack for a second - I did the front of a clipboard and being in the super humid climate that is South Florida it's still tacky 6 days later. Is there something I can do to make it less tacky?

I have heard sanding in between coats with fine sand paper and steel wool works. I myself have never tried it though.

I had the same problem with mine being tacky for days and I used the Spray Sealer you recommended and it worked great. But for the life of me I can't remember what you called it.

Blue and black spray can. I picked it up at Michaels. :confused3

is mod podge and the sealer available at walmart or hobby lobby? that's all i have in my town, all the LSS are gone.

they should carry them. At Walmart look in the wood section of the craft dept, or where they keep all the glue in the craft dept. Hobby Lobby should have it too.

Don't you just love Florida summers? I'll pick up a can tonight. I did a journal for a friend's daughter too and it's tacky so something added would be perfect.
