Has anyone put up their Christmas tree yet? I'm thinking I will do this next week-end.

TC:cool:

Up and totally decorated... honestly because I have a busy schedule and cannot get all this done before Advent starts... so... Christmas stuff went up this weekend. Since I made a mess doing this ;) I will do all my heavy cleaning next and finally TG weekend, I will "officially" light the tree.

All right, I officially don't like you guys! ;)

I'm lucky if I get my tree up before Dec. 24!

We're putting our tree up the day after Thanksgiving.

My dd has 1/2 a day Tues,Wed.& Thurs. so I'll put it up one of those days. I want it up before Saturday, because my mom is coming in from Fla. for the holidays and I want her to walk in the house with it all up and lit.

I should add that I normally get mine up Thanksgiving weekend, but this year I will be gone on Thursday (normally do not go out of town for TG) and Friday and Sat are booked with some acting stuff & a wedding. Need to have the house totally cleaned by the time I leave for WDW early Dec... not enough days this month for me ;)

The earliest Christmas trees-fresh ones are sold are on Thanksgiving Day, so we will either get it then or a couple of days after.

Not yet. They will definately be up this time next week. ::yes::

No, I am trying to hold out for Thanksgiving weekend when DH has 4 days off. All of these Christmas Decoration threads are making me rethink it though. :teeth:

The christmas village is laid out, the outdoor decor is up and the tree is up. The tree is decorated from the half down (the kids) and I'm finishing up the top half this weekend.

Nope, I buy a fresh one, so it probably won't be bought Dec 6 or 7..

I will put my tree up the DAY Lowe's gets their first shipment of Live trees! Probably the day after T-giving.::yes::

I'm not putting a tree up this year. This year will be the first Christmas without DH in 17 years. :( Because he is deployed and my daycare is closed so much during the holidays.... the kids are going to my mothers for the christmas break and so I will be spending Christmas alone. For fear of putting my back out I won't be dragging the tree up and battling it alone so next year will be really special again. I am thinking about getting a small table sized tree though!

Traditionally this is what we do the day after Thanksgiving...My DH's goal in life is to out-do the Griswolds. LOL!

Mine will go up as soon as I get back from Thanksgiving in Michigan. I LOVE Christmas :hyper: :hyper:

Mine goes up next weekend before Thanksgiving! I have to have surgery on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, so I am getting a jump start on stuff here. DH and I leave for WDW Dec 8 - 12, so I have to be super organized this year!

I'm with Kasar!!!

My son's first Christmas I had a total meltdown because I wanted a photocard of the baby in fron of the tree. My DH called some friends, asked if their tree was up and over we went. Of the 5 photocards taken in front of trees, 4 of them weren't ours!!

DH is doing it as I type. I put out the rest of the decorations today though. I figure that they are up in the mall, and since I won't be there now that I quit, I want to see decorations at home! Plus is just makes the house so nice and warm.

We usually put ours up on Thanksgiving Day and decorate it over the next couple of days, however, we are moving on the 29th so the tree will be one of the first things we put up in the new house!

No, but I put up our outside lights today! My neighbors were like, It's not Thanksgiving yet!! But then proceeded to put up their wreath on their front door! LOL I haven't turned the lights on yet. I'm trying to get a jump on the decorations since we'll be leaving for Disney in a couple of weeks! (Wow!) We'll put our tree up when we get back (Don't want to leave our two cats alone with it while we're gone! lol)

We've never put our tree up before Thanksgiving, and it usually isn't anytime before December, either. I like to get it up sometime during the first week of December--close enough to Christmas to get in the spirit yet far enough away to have time to enjoy it!

If the weather cooperates, we like to go to a tree farm once there is already snow on the ground...it's so pretty!
