I will be visiting WDW for the first time next August and am busy doing my ADRs and moving them around again, and having fun! Only problem is, when I think I'm done - I find another 'must-do' restaurant!! I know it's a bit early, but I'm a planaholic and I'm just so excited!! I think I must have looked at every source possible! This is the short-version of my ADR decisions:

17th - (we will have just spent 11 nights on I Drive, so moving to WDW around 11am) Lunch will be low key at ASMo Food Court (unless we have a must do lunch). Dinner will be at CRT, with the slipper dessert also pre-ordered.

18th - Crystal Palace dinner buffet (lunch either Casey's/Pecos Bill/Tomorrowland noodle)

19th - Boma dinner (lunch at Typhoon)

20th - Biergarten dinner (with electric umbrella/seasons for lunch - i would love to try tangierene cafe but morocco is too close to germany!! :confused3 )

21st - Kona Cafe dinner (lunch at blizzard)

22nd - Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic dinner (lunch at toy story - unless suggestions)

23rd - Le Cellier dinner (lunch at pizzafari)

24th - Beaches and Cream lunch; Nine Dragons dinner

25th - Breakfast at 1900 PF; Dinner at Cape May Cafe (lunch at Cheesecake factory!)

26th - Lunch at Rainforest Cafe; Dinner at 'Ohana

27th - Boma breakfast; dinner on the plane :sad2:

Where I haven't mentioned breakfast, we are dining at ASMo Food Court, but I would like to fit a breakfast elsewhere once!!

Let me know what you think though!!

I too, have the Planaholic condition. :Pinkbounc So I understand what your going through. Just remeber, You have time to make changes.

First, a quick rundown on my credetials. I am a WDW FREAK! I have been to WDW over 32 times, and I am 32 years old. (I lost count after 32 times.) Anyway, I am sought after by friends, family, and neighbors to help with their meal planning. (I really need to start my own consulting business). I might also add that I have tried every restaurant in WDW.

You have some great choices, but her is what I would change if it were me: I would add The Sci-fi Dine in theatre for lunch, and the 50's Prime Time cafe for dinner at MGM. Mama Melrose is also a very memerable lunch or dinner. The pizzas are amazing!

I would consider Hollywood and Vine for Breakfast if you have kids.

The Biergarten is my least favorite place in all the world, and The electric Umbrella... not really worth the stop. If you're in World Showcase for Lunch, Mexico CS is decent, and America is fantastic. San Angel Inn is good too. If you like frozen Margarita's, stop outside Mexico and pick one up. The Chiros are my favorite snack too.

We like to snack and drink our way around world showcase. The Egg Rolls from China are the best I've ever had. You may consider getting a chocolate eclair and a glass of wine in France. Le Cellier has the best dinners.

Kona Cafe is one of my favorites, but I have never had Lunch there. I think they have the best sitdown breakfast in WDW. Dinner was also amazing. Save room for dessert...trust me.

Lunch at Rainforest is perfect, and Dinner at O'Hana... :bounce: well, let me tell you. This is our favorite place to eat, and we plan our HOLE trip around this one. Save room in your tummies, and try to do it without kids if possible. You will want to stay for a very long time. They make you extremely comfortable. The dessert is the best part, so save a tiny bit of room for that. Try to eat an early lunch.

Go to beaches and cream in the evening for a snack... get the No way Jose! :lovestruc

If you have kids... Chef Mickey's is great. This is my kids favorite as well as the princess breakfast at EPCOT.

1900 PF is also at the bottom of my list... not a fan.

Well, I hope this helps. I know it's a lot of info all at once. But believe me, if you truly are a planner... you'll be back! It's a sickness I tell You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:bitelip:

I would steer very clear of Nine Dragons, and go for Le Cellier or even better, Rose and Crown. Beaches and Cream is always a good idea. Character meals are always fun, as is Ohana. Kona Cafe is a good pick. Electric Umbrella isn't my first choice. There is plenty to eat in WS in terms of Counter Service. We like France and England in that respect.

Thanks for the advice!!

Le Cellier is down already, and I don't really want to go to Rose and Crown... I'm from the UK so I get things like that to eat every day!!

We don't have any kids, as you can see from my sig it's just me (20) and my DBF (23)

The No Way Jose looks yummy though!! I've been trekking through that thread for the past 3 days!!

If you want to try 'Ohana - do breakfast with Lilo & Stitch. Lots of fun and great fruit plate & bread basket. The other food is normal breakfast fare- waffles, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs.

I agree - no 'Ohana for dinner and no Nine Dragons.
France- LeCellier - is wonderful, lunch is a bit less expensive than dinner.

MGM - across from the Beauty & Beast Show there is a great food court area. Skip Toy Story pizza with the small children running around. The food area across from the Beauty & Beast show has pizza, turkey legs, soup, salad and fresh fruit. Nice outdoor tables to sit at with umbrella's.

Happy planning :surfweb: and enjoy your magical vacation at WDW :cloud9:

I know the feeling. We're going to WDW in January (4.5 months to go) but we started planning it / talking about it in September 2005! Right after we got back from DLP. We're also from the UK and like you its just me (22) and DBF (24) going.

We're staying at ASMo for 14 nights - got ADR's booked but we're also eating off site so we haven't made too many ADR's.

I've been before but DBF is a newbie.

Our plan is as follows:

15th Jan: Late afternoon arrival so probably Earl of Sandwich followed by Goofys Candy Co for dessert

16th Jan: big breakfast offsite, snack in AK then Chef Mickeys for dinner

17th Jan: big breakfast offsite, snack in park, Bubba Gump for dinner

18th Jan: lunch in Blizzard beach (guarenteed to change days as the waterpark plan is to wing it as its January...as soon as we have a warm ish day we'll go to the waterpark and swap with another day) Dinner offsite

19th Jan: undecided as yet - but will be offsite

20th Jan: lunch in MGM, will be decided on the day. Dinner offsite after fantasmic

21st Jan: breakfast offsite, snack in MK, dinner at CRT (anniversary meal)

22nd Jan: lunch offsite, quick dinner somewhere before PPP pirate: princess:

23rd Jan: snack in Epcot (probably the France bakery), late lunch early dinner at Beaches and Cream, evening snacks around WS

24th Jan: lunch offsite, dinner TBC

25th Jan: lunch offsite, dinner TBC

26th Jan: Repeat day - no idea what park we'll be in

27th Jan: As above. Dinner at O'Hanas

28th jan: As above. Dinner at Front Row to watch the WWE PPV (unless anyone has some better suggestions)

29th Jan: Breakfast at Donalds Breakfastausaurus. Dinner on Plane

We want to try many other restaurants like Le Cellier and Kona Cafe but we'll use those as an excuse to come back!!
