Alone For The First Time

I have decided to go and made my reservations . I am also all about family but it is not convient for us all to get togeather at the same time anymore. I got thinking about the quiet walks , the beautiful sunsets as well as meeting different people from all over the world . I also can now do things that I want to do without someone being dissapointed or to tired to go the extra mile or just relax by the pool . I hope that you can get over the guilt you have given your family many years of your time it is now your turn for some alone time . My children all support my decision , we will keep in touch TEXTING an by cell you are really never really that far away . Go and have some fun I can not wait . I have made all my ADR's waiting to book my tee times this is all that is left. Love that Mouse

dandydad you are going to LOVE going solo!!! I did my first solo trip this past May and it was the BEST!!!

I thought I would feel guilty about leaving my two DSs but I have to tell you, the guilt went away as soon as I stepped off the plane at MCO!

I also thought I would get bored or lonely - didn't happen. I enjoyed the time I had to explore WDW by myself. For once I got to do what I wanted to do.

And I had the opportunity to meet and hang out with some outstanding DISers (Hi Darcy! Hi Teresa!). It really made my trip.

So my advice to you is - go solo, have fun and meet a DISer or two if you can
