We are arriving on Saturday bright and early, 7am

Last time I didn't know that Alcohol was not allowed in MK, and DH and I brought 2 Miller Lite's each from the CL Lounge.. No one said anything to us, we were waiting for the parade, but I would have been moritified if we had gotten escorted out of the park for adult beverages, LOL!

Haha! That is something my husband and I would do! Luckily, we knew MK was "dry" but that doesn't stop us from hopping the monorail over to the Poly for a quick Lapu Lapu

Hi everyone,
I think we are finally going to take out trip that didn't happen!!!!
Split stay with the Poly and AKL...only because I LOVE the Poly but think my kids would love to wake up to animals outside their balcony.

Hoping to book this week and start on dining reservations! I've never been past the 180 days when booking so I'm hoping we get what I want.

Actually, they were in the back pockets of our Double Jogging stroller, they didn't check those.. I guess those awful double strollers have their advantages, LOL!

Arriving Saturday around 2:00ish. Called IPO yesterday to get our MNSSHP tix for the 20th!! Bags are 80% packed and just trying to get through these last 4 days at work! See you all there

I haven't bought tickets for MNSSHP on the 20th yet, waiting till prob. Sunday to make sure it's not downpouring. Last time we went, it rained pretty hard for a while, we survived but I'd rather not go in the rain with 3 kids this time, last time we only had 2 and they did pretty well sitting in the stroller with a rain cover..

That does sound fun! Bummer though as we are heading to MK around 4 or 5 - but will be hanging at the pool all day prior to that! If only I could have splurged on a cabana!

I just noticed in your signature someone is celebrating a 21st birthday....one of my DDs will be celebrating her 22nd Birthday this trip...her b-day is the 19th ...we are celebrating that and her recent graduation from LSU

Yes, DD is turning 21 on 9/17. This trip is just me and DD. DH and DS(24) have had two cross country camping/hiking/fishing trips and it is our turn.

Well I guess that adds credence to those who say that the bag check is really just for appearances - I can imagine what you can sneak in with a fully loaded stroller, like say, 4 beers! Thankfully no one "caught you" during the parade. I imagine that would have been a tad embarrassing!
