Katie are you staying CL? Do you already have your tickets? Just wondering if we will get this also. It is so cool. I would love to be part of it. We are staying CL but just have vouchers for our AP's at this point. Also have you already done online check in?

I am staying CL but we are also doing a splitstay with the Contemporary CL so that is probably why we got them. What do you mean by tickets? We have the ones for Magical Express.

Park tickets is what I meant. I sure hope they do this for the Poly also. This is very cool and I would love to do it. Congratulations on getting your bands!

If it is split stay with Contemporary that is why they got bands. Poly unfortunately isn't apart of the testing.

Your park tickets get attached to your band when you have the actual ticket because they need the number on the back of the ticket to dd it. I just called IPO at the Poly and they confirmed that right now they are not participating. LOL go figure that the two other MK resorts are but not the Poly. Oh well the testing at the resorts is changing all the time so maybe they will be by the time I leave. Not getting my hopes up though.

To my knowledge Grand Floridian isn't testing either just Cont.

I will be changing my OKW resort reservation to the Poly for the first week of Feb. I can't decide which to book. What are the benefits of CL verses a standard room? We will definitely want to still eat out at some of the nicer restaurants. Most likely we'll do a sit down 4-5 nights of our 6 night stay. We need two rooms since there are 6 in our party. Is club level worth it if we plan to still eat out? I know we want to do Ohana's and Spirit of Aloha dinner show. I'm looking at $3800 for 2 standard rooms, will need to add dining to that but will likely get a discount from retired CM aunt, or about $5,100 for CL. These rates are with my 35% off pin but could be better with our CM discount. They won't let her book this far in advance so we opted to at least use our pin at the guaranteed 35%.

Thanks,
Sandy

That's interesting!! Now that you mention it, I think I do remember a lady being there making fresh flower leis. We've never received the fresh flower leis either. I wonder if she has to be there on your check-in date to receive one?

Sent from my Galaxy SII

We are checking in on a Sunday...last time we checked in we just got regular leis...we got anniversary buttons 5 years ago. (It was our 5th anniversary). I wonder what days she is there?

I've only stayed CL once and that was at CBR. I think it is worth it if you don't want to worry about dinning reservations etc. just telling club what you want and letting them take car if it is nice. Also having the lounge for breakfast was so convenient and ended up saving us money. I did have a CM rate so I was only paying 100 a night for CL CBR.

I saw this asked in January, but never answered...

Do Polynesian TVs have any sort of external video input, especially HDMI?

Thanks!

Club level provides you with a lounge and food offerings/snacks during the day, with evening appetizers and desserts/cordials later in the evening. People stay CL for different reasons and our main reason for staying CL is for the lounge. We like having some place else to go to sit and relax instead of in our room or other parts of the resort. I especially love going to the lounge in the morning as I'm usually the first one up and ready, so it's a great place for me to go and have my morning coffee while everyone else is getting ready ;). The food offerings are nice, but they are not to be a meal replacement. We do a sit down dinner every night of our trip whether we stay CL or not. It's all a matter of personal preference, but I do not see it as a bad thing to do the DDP if you going to be doing sit down dinners anyways (this is, of course, just my opinion).

No, CBR is a moderate resort and does not have CL.

Jus got my Mickey mail today!!! No ME tags in the envelope though. I guess they come separately?

So excited......32 days and we'll be enjoying the Poly! Can't wait!:)

Ha-- Got my ME tags and vouchers today but nothing else! :confused3

I am staying at the poly from 7/31 - 8-5. We have never stayed here before. I am debating if I should pay the extra for the Theme Park View?

I say it depends on if you plan on spending a good deal of time on your balcony. We have our first cup coffee every morning on it, when we come back from the parks and maybe a little in the afternoon.

That's what I thought, but the poster I quoted wrote about a CL experience at CBR?
