I am here at the Poly now (loving Hawaii). Wanted to update everyone on 'Ohana. We enjoyed breakfast at 'Ohana on 6/25. Pictures were taken outside in front of the sign. I guess the inside pictures with Stich didn't even last a month!

Awesome! Would love to hear a full report on everything! We arrive in 28 days!!!!

Does anyone know if tikimans site is totally up to date as far as room categories? We just checked in and were given 1503 in Hawaii and I booked theme park view while his site shows it as lagoon view. Price difference is substantial, so I wanted to be sure.

Can you clearly see the castle unobstructed? If so, then it could be classified as TPV. His list might have been made from someone booking a lagoon view and getting that room, but it could have been an upgrade.

If you can't see the castle, I would ask to switch.

1503 is TPV unless they have recently changed it. Here's a photo from the patio:

Dang - hate posting from my ipad and the DIS app. I will have to fix that. I will be back to fix the photo, but you can definitely see the castle although there is a tree down at the beach that could have grown more, but on the 1st floor shouldn't look much different. The swing on the beach was also in front of 1503.

Yes we can see the castle from 1503. I just didn't want to pay for TPV if it's indeed lagoon view as indicated on tikimans site. We've never been on the 1st floor so hopefully we like it!

We are staying at Poly for Fourth of July. When I called to make a change in my ressie Sat night, the res agent told me that there is some construction going on. The first and second res agents never told me about this and now I'm wondering how if at all this might affect our stay?? Can anyone shed some light on this?

We are here now and the only thing I have saw is a small area on the beach cordoned off, I think someone said it was a new fire pit.

Saturday night food in lounge was barbecue pork skewers and spring rolls.

CL is awesome -- new rooms are spacious and very nice!

We will be at the Poly CL soon, our first time. I would love to hear your thoughts on the lounge, the check in process and the Hawaii longhouse in general.

We just checked in today to Poly CL for 4 nights. We transferred from the Beach Club after 6 nights. Definitely a different feel and vibe from BC. The lounge is nice, bustling with people. It has a wonderful view of the castle. Check in was amazing! It was raining out and we arrived around 3:30 from Animal Kingdom. Told the CM out front that we were checking in CL and she called for another CM right away who loaded us and our luggage that was transferred from the BC all onto a stretched golf cart and delivered us right to Hawaii. While we checked in he brought our stuff to the room. Everything was very nice!

Now, I just have to say that I doubt a room has a better view than ours! (if someone can explain how to post pics from an iPad I'll post the proof! Lol) We are in room 3513 with the most amazing theme park view! Now if we can get this rain to go away so that we can enjoy the cabana tomorrow!
