Another anniversary at the Poly.My husband and I 25 years!! Will be there in November and please hurry and get here!!

Yay, another anniversary couple! Will you be sporting a Lime Green Mickey, LuLu'sMom? Or anyone else there toward the middle-end of September? I'll be wearing mine on my bag again; I unknowingly met Teena (the lovely BC Teena) when we were visiting Cape May Cafe last September.

If you see lots of empty, dug-out pineapples and I'm not invisible, you should be able to spot me by looking around underneath the tables.

I'll be sporting the lime green Mickey you created here when I'm in and around the parks.

I think we miss each other by a few days though, we don't arrive at WDW until the 24th.

Wish me some pixie dust to make my mom's dream vacation a success, please! I just adjusted our reservations at the Poly to 13 nights, room only, for the end of October to the beginning of November. Two weeks at WDW has been one of my mom's dearest wishes for years now!

So, Polynesian + APs + Tables in Wonderland cards =

Last time I was at the Poly I had terrible morning sickness (all day sickness really). I can't wait to be there and be able to actually eat and enjoy myself!!!! Ok, so maybe it's a dream vacation for me, too...

Ugggh! I booked and cancelled my 8 night stay at Poly today. We want to stay November 3-11, 2012. I was so excited to see those dates finally become available that I booked. However, I booked using a travel agent discount and I'm afraid I won't be working for that agency or in the industry at all when that time comes so I chickened out and cancelled. Not sure what to do. I'm afraid if I book using the discount I will stick with a job that is not really working out just for Disney (because I'm crazy like that, lol). Maybe I should just book regular rack rates and hope for a sale but if there is no sale I would have to downgrade. Hmmmm decisions decisions.

You might be right about the hubster and his level of crazy. Being a scientist, I do occasionally get a Doofenshmirtz vibe from him. Thank you for the happy anniversary wishes!

Yay, Happy 25th! What a fabulous way to spend it, too. (If the hubster and I haven't killed each other by then, we've got 1.5 more decades to go. )

Congratulations on 14. It was a complete fluke that I'd met her; I'd only realized after we returned home who she was! We had a nice chit-chat with her in the lobby after our breakfast. She's so lovely.

*grin* Glad I'm not the only one! I usually look at those tickers and think, "Oh, how cool would it be to be going in X days?!" Then I think of how unprepared I'd be and don't feel so green.

So excited that I was able to get one of the cabanas for a full day! One whole day to just chill out and forget the world. Love it. I also read Carl's review and saw his pics on TikiSteve's website. Very nice.

Was always told that the King beds belonged to the King Kamehameha suite and then they added several Kings to the other suites in the Tonga LH.

Since Poly has always been so strongly family-oriented, thought they would keep the 2 queen/daybed setup.

Well, the CARLCAM did it for DH! We'll be celebrating our 17th anniversary this fall at the Poly!

The Polynesian now has 3 cabanas near the Volcano Pool. Two of them are the standard cabanas and one is a premium cabana. The Standard Cabanas can be booked for 4 hours from 10am-2pm or 3pm-7pm
for $117.15 or for 9 hours from 10am-7pm for $197.03. They include:

The Standard Cabanas include:

. Two padded chaise lounge chairs
Two padded straight-backed chairs
Plush towels
32 inch LCD television with cable access and optional earphones
DVD/CD/MP3 player

Mini refrigerator stocked with complimentary sodas and water
Fruit basket (may not be available without advanced reservation)

The Premium Cabana can be booked for the day 10am-5pm or for the night 7pm-12am for $319.50.

Plush Veneman (high-end brand name) cabana furniture
Within the Premium Cabana:
Separate Small table and two chairs
Two padded Love Seats
Two padded Lounge chairs
Within the Private Deck:
Separate Large Dining Table (up to 6)
Separate Conversational Seating area with 2 Canoe couches and ottoman

TICKER! I'm not a big liquor drinker, so the Lapu, Lapu tasted to strong for me, but the pina coLava tasted just right!!!

I'd have to say I agree with you on this (she said as she ducked to avoid being pelted with hollowed out pineapples & sporks! ). I'm a rum drinker by nature, but I found the pina colava went down much easier ... maybe a little too easy! I suspect they can come with invisibility cloaks too - the kind that sneak up on you because you've been downing something like koolaid!

We arrived at the poly at about 11:30 this morning. Great flight, caught magic express and was at the resort within one hour of landing!

Luggage arrived within two hours.

We received all our room request. First floor and connecting rooms with a perfect view of the castle. In fact it's the same two rooms we had last year

So far the weather is not so great. Rain. But we are hoping it will let up shortly for dinner at Tonys tonight.

It's my granddaughters first trip and seeing her expression when she saw the castle from the room wad priceless
