Happy Saturday night everyone! I have a quick question. When should I request a particular room or floor with CL IPO? I'm emailing back and forth for ADRs right now and I wasn't sure if it was okay to ask yet or not. Thanks!!!

Nancy

Welcome back, Karen!! So happy you had a wonderful trip! Thank you so much for sharing it with us and all the pics you posted...and, of course, for checking out possible Longhouses for us!

Can't wait to see more pics. So it's Figi for you next time?;) It is hard to beat that for a GV- just wish the halls weren't so narrow - guess I'm very spoiled by the spacious hallways of the "newer" blgs...and those lovely seating areas outside the elevator.
(I sound like a broken record.:rotfl:)

Well maybe not so much "broken" as "bent" :lmao:

I'll post more pics when I get the chance to download them all and clean them up a bit. And yes, I'm dying to stay in Figi with a marina view. :goodvibes Although it might be hard to stay away from that Castle view! Watching Wishes from my bed was absolute heaven.

I'm the same way. Only I grew up in a military family (21 yrs of military life), so it's all about a list, checking things off as things are bought, then again as I pack. I love packing, thank goodness not stressful at all. :thumbsup2

We traveled a lot when I was a kid so I love to pack. I keep a Disney bin with all of the ponchos, lanyards, etc in it so I just have to grab those items and then find space for them in my over packed luggage. I'm bummed about flying since that means I'll have to pack light for once. :upsidedow

I love packing, too. :goodvibes

I don't use a list but do keep my 311, first aid and toiletries bags packed at all times. Clothes, shoes, jackets, etc. are easy and fun to do in the last few days when the spirit moves me. :cool1:

A little off topic, but what is a 311? :)

I was going to ask the same thing!

You know, coming from someone who used to travel alot, I kept a suitcase always half packed.
My Disney case always has those things you need, I just have to add the clean clothes in! :wizard:

Welcome back! I'm looking forward to the pictures--not that I'm rushing you or anything. . . :rolleyes1

Here are a few Poly pics. :)

View from our room - it was partially blocked by the palm tree, but we could see the Castle with the drapes drawn.

...sigh...thanks, Karen! LOVE those views - the thing about the Poly is that it is just so serene. I enjoy other resorts too - some for location to EPCOT or GF or CR - but none come close the the Poly for loveliness. :)

What longhouse would you request if you had Lagoon View booked? Our choices are Tuvalu, Tahiti, and Aoertera, right? Tuvalu looks wonderful and slightly more convenient to the GCH than Tahiti, but Tahiti has the larger rooms and we know we will have a balcony. If we get Tuvalu we would have to be first or second floor to get Lagoon view and second floor doesn't have the balcony. WWYD? :confused3 I have only stayed garden view, and my Mom has only stayed in Hawaii....so I'm just not sure what to suggest to her and then what to request on our reservation. I'd love to hear some thoughts on your experiences/likes/dislikes!!:goodvibes

If you want a balcony or patio I would also go for Tahiti. I don't think that any on the longhouses have an overly far walk to anything (except maybe the ones at the GF end have a longer walk to the TTC).

I have the poly-blues you all! I just got back in early March and I don't have another trip planned until next year! That is the problem with taking a trip in the beginning of the year I guess!

Hope all is well and keep the pictures coming please!

Okay you CL people, I need you. My husband and I spent the last hour pouring over CL pictures. Can anyone tell me the beer offerings at the lounge? My DH is hoping for something other then Bud products. Thanks!

The beers that are served Bud Light, Heineken, Kona Seasonal, and Yuengling.
The kona is pretty good! My wife and I like the punch as well!

Were you offered a "Bounceback" offer (and if so, what was it)?
