Thanks Breezysmom. . .the new "home" is looking good!

:thanks: for all of your hard work BreezysMom! The thread is looking mighty nice! :goodvibes

oooooh Breezy you have been busy! Some spring cleaning? out with the old in with the new?

Thank you for doing this thread, it really is only one of the few things that will get me through my countdown to the POLY!!!! 149 days!!!!! (can't have a ticker, it is a surprise trip for the kids)

thank you, you are the best:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Great thread!
I have a question, I am a poly newbie. We would like to stay at the Poly in Sept. for a few days and we are a party of 7 with one under 3. I see in your introduction that there are suites with 2 and 3 bedrooms but when I try to look at them on the Disney site it just tells me my party is too large. So is there a place for us at the Poly?

Cool! :cool1: A new Poly thread. Great job, BreezysMom! After seeing all the pictures so far, time just won't move fast enough so we can see them in person.

The suites are not listed for rental online you must call to make arrangements. I must warn you they are like the high roller suites in Vegas! Very pricey, however they are absolutley gorgeous! Spacious it is considered concierge level. One advantage of the suites is you are pretty much in a building by yourself and they are two steps from the GCH!

Good Morning! :flower3:

I wish I could sit here and work on this all day but sadly I have to go to work :sad2: I will be back this evening and weekend to finish the cleaning and sprucing up :thumbsup2

If you do find a link problem or a typo, please let me know. It will be a huge help :worship:

Happy Friday everyone! :dance3:

Thanks for the quick reply! I did find them on Disney's site and I think they may be a bit out of our price range even if we got some awesome discount code. It would be much cheaper just to rent two rooms!

From what I understand you can't apply a discount code to a suite at the Poly. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Breezysmom: Thanks for getting the new thread started. It looks fabulous!

Wow, I take an evening off and look what happens! Fantastic job BreezysMom! :thumbsup2 Thanks for all of your hardwork!!

Yay, Breezysmom! Looks great! :cheer2:

Thanks for getting us started, and for updating all the new TRs!

(Maiaipapaya, Tuvalu's secret is out!)

I know how you feel...my Fav GV Figi has been getting lots of talk lately :rolleyes1 I was hoping I could keep that Longhouse on the downlow for GV requests. :rotfl:

Yes, we have to stop shooting ourselves in the foot! Maybe we should make a pact to promote Tahiti and pretend that staying on "our side" of the resort is totally slumming it. :lmao:

I am SOOO addicted to Poly. :stitch2: We stayed there in 2008 for 10 days with 5 people. This year there are 9 of us going. Yes we got 3 rooms as I have a major feeling that before the 10 days is up we will have at least one if not more people needing a break from each other. I am hoping to get the same log house again this year. Rapi Nue ...the one closest to the TTC. It just worked out best there for our daughter who is on oxygen and my mother who has metal knees. My dad is going this year and he has back problems so it will work out great if they can get us in this building. We booked back in December. I also got a fantastic PIN code for 40% off. :cool1: Saved us close to 5grand total. So with the trip now almost completly paid off, rental car done, universal studios tickets bought (thankfully before the price increase). DD age 13 is totally excited that the Harry Potter area will be open by then....me too; all that is left is to count down :hourglass: and pack.

Thanks for the information. We will be back in early August. Can't wait.

I'm going for 5 nights in Dec. I have a MK view room. Do all of those rooms have a balcony or do I need to request a specific area? I really want a balcony instead of just viewing out of my window. Any specific rooms that someone has had that was very nice?

No, no discounts on the suites. I did get some upgrades to some when I was booked in the 1bedrm princess suite...like to the 2 bedrm and the King K!!!
And they let me know before my arrival! :cloud9:

The honeymoon suite was one of the hardest to get and it's not much more than the rack rate as the TPVCL, but there is just ONE honeymoon suite, so it's a crap-shoot to get it when you call CRO!

Stayed in them before and after the renovations (except the Ambassador suites but I got to tour them and take all the pics)
and they are fabulous!
After looking at Steve's site last week, I noticed that he hasn't updated the 2010 rack rates and hasn't added all the suite pics from the old site yet.
He must be very busy!

Ahh....those were the days, but no more. Recession's done a doozy on us!:faint:

Love the new thread. Great job, Breezysmom!

I'm so looking forward to our trip to Florida. We went to New Orleans for a few days this week to see the National World War II Museum. It was still pretty chilly to me. And now they say there is a chance of snow here in Fort Worth tomorrow! Will this winter ever end? I can't wait for the August heat at the Poly, sitting near the pool, watching my boys swim and enjoying a Lapu Lapu!
