I thought I read in a newsletter that he was back part time...but not 100% sure, so did not mention it...hope someone knows for sure!

Kaleo was there at the end of October. He was playing in 'Ohana when we were there for dinner and he played the drum for the torch lighting ceremony. I had read just before we went that there was quite an uproar when he was "let go." Maybe TPTB did the right thing and brought him back permanently (although maybe just part-time ).

Great news, thanks! It would not be the same with out him, so surely some regulars must have let their disappointment known - we sent an email.

For those of you that were wondering about the views from Aotearoa, here are a few pics I took on the way to Tuvalu:

There were a gaggle of turkeys running around...here's one we got real close to:

If you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful longhouse, Aotearoa is perfect! Notice there are only 2 people in all of these photos!

Hi all of you Poly lovers This is only my 2nd post on this site I have been reading this thread for a while. I have been to Disney many times and I have been a vacation club member for a couple years. I have always wanted to stay in the Poly ever since my first visit as a child. So with the 40% discount I have decided to book a 3 night stay (GV) in May before I check out and into the Boardwalk villas. I have put in a request for Tolekau with a balcony. I love all the love you all have for all things Poly and I will keep reading to get all the tips and pictures you keep posting to try and hold me till I can get there! only 47 days away

Just wanted to say Hi and thank you all for all your information

OMG - I could be sooo happy with that view! I don't understand why so many do not like Tuvalu. I'd stay there in a heartbeat!

Use as many as you wish! I do not understand either why Tuvalu always gets shunned by Tahiti...the views were amazing, and these pictures don't do it justice. There's a few of us who've stayed in Tuvalu recently though who have become loyal followers! Have a great day!

Us too! That was the biggest deterrent to us buying into DVC - they don't have villas at Poly!

Use as many as you wish! I do not understand either why Tuvalu always gets shunned by Tahiti...the views were amazing, and these pictures don't do it justice. There's a few of us who've stayed in Tuvalu recently though who have become loyal followers! Have a great day!

Must be losing my mind...have stayed at the Poly so many times, but cannot remember if the EWP can be seen from the end deck of Tokelau or Tahiti rooms. Anyone else happen to know, please?
