Thanks! It's our family's all-time favorite movie. I swear my DH and kids can recite it word for word.:rotfl:

Us too!

"I do not think it means... what you think it means!"

and "Twwwuuu Wuuuvv"

and.... oh there are SO many great lines in that movie! My secret plan, when my sister gets engaged is to host her shower as a "Princess Bride" Tea using theming from two of her favorite movies - Princess Bride and Pirates. She's even dressed as the Dred Pirate Roberts for halloween multiple times (as an adult!) ;)

My DH doesn't get involved at all. He leaves everything to me and then he just shows up. It's probably a lot better that way. :rotfl:

DH laughs at me when I try and discuss making ADRs six months before our trip. It certainly does not stop him from complaining while we are at Disney when I try to explain that we can't just walk up to 'Ohanas for dinner one night at 6pm. Silly man :lmao:

I have to make ADRs for our F&W trip in October on Easter Sunday. Problem is, we can't decide if we want any ADRs or just wing it with the food at EPCOT and counter service. Decisions, decisions. . .we will probably discuss it with finality on Friday night/Saturday since we are going to get some GORGEOUS spring weather! :worship:

We will be there for the last three days of it our next trip and our plan is to actually go to Epcot first rather than the MK :scared1: I figured since we are arriving on a Wed we better hit the Countries because that last weekend may be a bit crowded.

Due to this plan, we are not making any ADRs for the first few days. So many Countries...not a lot of time :lmao:

You'll have to give me suggestions when you return. We are F&W rookies! :worship:

Breezy - I am in Chicago too, loving this weather! I think I'll take the kids to Brookfield tomorrow, woohoo!

We might be at the Poly at the same time. This is our first Disney Trip, and I am utterly obsessed!

Greetings! Welcome to the Poly FAQ!

Ask away for anything Poly! These people are experts :worship:

Hope to see you at the Poly!

Only 14 more days until our 1st time at the Poly!!!!! :yay::yay: I can't wait.

Has anyone ordered from Garden Grocer and had it delivered to the resort? I'm thinking of doing that for bottled water and snacks. How do you have the delivery labeled and where do you pick it up?

Thanks!!!

Yeah for being bale to make ADR's! :cheer2:

I always have such mixed feelings about ADR's so far out (June 2nd for us, I think). Really, how do we know where we'll want to eat on which day? Sooo, make some for each day, but then try to go with the flow, rather than the ADR. ::yes:::

It's so exciting when our ADR date comes up!

Toddd - We'll be at the Poly the same time!! We leave 28 days from today :cool1:

Great - maybe we will meet ya by the pool. We are going as part of a Grand Gathering - 3 couples and 5 little girls age 10 and under! We have yet to come up with our Grand Gathering name which is really stressing me out. Suggestions we have had so far...'Polynesian Princesses and Ancillaries' (from the lawyer in the group) or 'the Ontario Artichokes' (from our 10 yr old daughter - who knows what this is suppose to mean  ). So if any has any better suggestions for us - fire away (come on Disser's - how hard can this be?!).

Just back yesterday from our 8 day disneymoon stay at the Poly. We loved it! We stayed in Rapa Nui and we thought it was a great spot for convenience. Previous stay was at Coronado Springs - and compared to that resort, Poly was much smaller and compact.

I don't think you are inconvenient no matter what longhouse you stay in - everything is a very close walk.

We loved that we can use the monorail, bus and boat transportaiton - so many options! LOVED Ohana.

If anyone has any questions - feel free to shoot!

How was your bus transportation to AK and DHS. We will be spending two days at AK. I have not stayed at a resort that shares buses with other resorts, so I am nervous about the buses sharing with GF and CR.

Thank you!

5 little girls! How cute :lovestruc

How about the Poly Princessess and their Poly Posse! :confused3

Have a great vacation! :wizard:

Ok, It's official! I can now say, "We are going to Disney next month!":cool1:

WOOHOO!!!! :cheer2:

Our trip isn't until December, and can hardly stand the wait. It will be 3 yrs since my last Poly stay and 2 yrs since my last trip to WDW. I'm as excited as a little kid! :dance3:

Have a great trip!! :goodvibes

Garden grocer is great!! They deliver to the bellman stand the day of your arrival in the morning! When you check in you will be told you have a package! That easy! Just label it with your name and resort name and address!

I want to order water only and Garden Grocer has a minimum order amt ($40?? Not sure). We're staying CL and I know we can get plenty of drinks in the lounge, but I like to take bottles of water into the parks with us--particularly in July. Anyone going the same time as us (july 3rd-11th) and wants to split an order?

Using Costco? I don't know if you are a member but I have heard that they will deliver water to the resorts for you for someting like $5-7:confused3 This is supposedly including tax and delivery and there is no minimum....I am looking into it for our August trip.

You can order a case of water from Costco or Staples and they will deliver right to the resort. They have no minimum order :thumbsup2

Just an FYI though. We stay CL and we brought refillable water bottles from home and just asked for bottles of water from the CL staff and they we happy to give us a few a day to take back to the room. I would fill our bottles and with that water.

I am not a Costco member, but I thought I'd read on here that others were having their water orders cancelled. I have considered bringing refillable bottles--but we drink a LOT of water and I don't want to seem a pig at the CL. I will look into Staples for water delivery.

Congrats on the double-digit dance:banana::banana:! Doesn't it feel good?

I still have to wait until 11/29, but with spring just coming in NY, the summer will fly by and November will be here before we know it! ;)

I was just wondering something about the Longhouses. I really can't afford to pay the extra for the MK view, although the pics on here are gorgeous! I have a garden view room booked. Where should I request to stay for a nice view? Walking a bit to the bus or monorail with kids doesn't bother me at all. I would just like the best view I can possibly get! Thanks for any help! I'm sure this will be our one and only trip ever to the Poly, so I want the best experience I can get! I can't wait!!!:rotfl:
