We just returned from a seven-night cruise on the Disney Treasure. The ship's theming is incredible and the service was impeccable. There was a great selection of food in Marceline Market and the Festival of Foods offerings were always served fresh and flavorful. We also enjoyed the main dining experience. The menus were unique and offered much variety. In addition, the waitstaff was timely and very attentive. However, almost every appetizer and entree was served lukewarm. It was surprising since the food arrive quickly and the pacing was well-orchestrated. Hopefully, this will improve on our upcoming Disney Destiny cruise.

We sailed on the Treasure last month. The first 2 nights, our food came out cold. I finally told our head server and she made sure our food was hot the rest of the week - she served it herself.

Our servers were overwhelmed with special requests and dietary restrictions from other tables, and our food was cold by the time they got it to us. We were eating salads when tables around us were eating dessert. First time we have had bad service at dinner on a DCL cruise.

You forgot to mention how bad the Muster drill went....3:55 then 4:30....We had first seating and the food was always hot except the soup.

EDIT... I should have been a little more specific as to how bad the Muster Drill was. Originally scheduled for 3:55. 95% of the passengers are in place waiting to enter the various venues or standing on the deck for check in. At 3:50 it was announced it would be delayed until 4:30. People on the sunny side of deck 4 probably had to endure that for close to an hour, if not even longer for some.

It was blamed on both refueling and a Coast Guard Inspection. If that was the case the delay would have been realized sooner and notice should have gone out much earlier. To me this was a total failure involving the entire Command Staff.

Ugh, that sounds horrible. And I agree, sounds like this was probably known and should have been communicated in advance. I'd be pretty upset if I was stuck standing out on that sunny deck for an hour (I don't do well with standing for long periods of time).

Same. I think I would have had to explain that I need to leave and come back at 4.30 because there is no way I could have stood out there for that long.

It sounds like they could have? If check in hadn’t started yet. I definitely would have gone and explored more. Probably get fries and an ice cream on the way.

They were already standing for 20-30 minutes, then had to go back out at 4:30 for another 20-30 minutes. No check in started until 4:30
I don't know about most people, but my mom always goes out of her way to get there super early before cast members start directing people to use stairs/not use the elevators for the drill. She has two bad knees and would rather get to the deck early and scope out a seat until it is time to line up than need to take more than a single flight of stairs.

Because it's supposed to START at 3:55 and everybody has to get checked in.
We get there 2-3 minutes before the start. And it takes 5 seconds to check in. We have always been fine, we are in line before they start looking for people.
I realize We are able bodied and are fortunate to be able to use stairs. We do have a son with asd so the crowding and noise is anxiety causing. I just don’t see this as a get there early event on the cruise. I also would have pivoted with the time change and not stayed in the sun.

But if all 100 or so showed up 2-3 minutes before you would not be starting on time especially since most don't know which way to go once they get to the door.

DCL really needs to rethink their safety muster process. Other cruise lines simply have you confirm that you reviewed the information and know where your muster station is located. DCL used this very process during COVID to avoid assembling customers in close proximity to each other.

I just went on NCL. The safety video is part of online check in 21 days prior to sailing so at midnight when you just want to check in to get a early PAT. As soon as I was on the ship I was pointed to my muster station but I had no bearings to have any idea how I had gotten there and was still processing what part of the ship and what deck I was on. I could not tell you at all where my muster station was and no way could I have easily made it there from my stateroom.

NCLs was faster but I feel DCL's is safer.
