Thank you everyone for you hugs and prayers. My Mom passed away at 4:15 this morning. It is so hard to believe she is gone. Her kidneys shut done, she was having trouble breathing. When I saw her Tuesday nite, she was not responding to me. I told her it was ok to go, that she was tired and she should join my Dad. My brother saw her later that nite and told her the same thing. I did not know this until we both went to the hospital this morning. There was no time for the staff to call us before she passed but they assured us she did not suffer. Again, thanks everyone for your kindness.

My FIL almost died from pancreatitis several years ago. He has recovered, after many many months, and will never be the same.

This is the hardest thing we do - watch our loved ones suffer! You just have to trust that she isn't in a lot of pain - that they are doing what they can to make her comfortable. Hang in there.
