As my title says, I have no idea what I am doing. I made reservations for BC August 10-19. I made a list of all the TS and CS places I want to eat (emphasis on I) into a spreadsheet (I love spreadsheets). I have a huge list of things to get beforehand at either the dollar store, target or walmart. I have been reading, reading, reading everyone else's trip report and pre-trip reports. Everyone seems so organized.
I have to start making ADR's on February 11. AHHHHHH!!!!!! That means planning what parks to go to on what days. We are getting a 6 day park hopper with water park option. We have 2 days of hanging around the pool (my kids are fish). I don't know if I should get the dining plan. We are all (5) over 10. Before I decide that I need to figure out where we are going to eat. I feel like I am just spinning my wheels.
I haven't even mentioned my cast of characters yet.
Me - Allyson - Sort of Disney obsessed. I love Tinkerbell and Goofy. Went to DW when I was young twice. Once in 1992 with DH. Once 6 years ago with DH and kids. We have been to DL 3 times. We live in CA. I hate having my picture taken so you won't see me. Sorry.
DH - He lets me do all the planning and just enjoys the ride. So far, he has loved every Disney vacation so I guess I am doing something right. He is not Disney obsessed at all, but with 4 females in the house he has learned to go with the flow. He usually takes the pictures so I don't know if I have one of him.
DD1 - 12 - She is a teen (not yet in age) thru and thru. Hair has to be just so. Clothes have to be just so. My actress. She has been in many musicals and just loves it. She loves Pluto. She is trying to grow up too fast, but still sleeps with her blankey and stuffed dog (Pongo).
DD2 - 10 - How to describe DD2? Anyone know Stitch? Yep, that is DD2. That is even her nickname at school. She is my troublemaker. Has been to the principal's office every year of school. Never anything major (kindergarten - writing on a desk with sharpie), but I have to really be on the ball with her. She loves Stitch (wonder why?) and has many stuffed Stitches. She knows what she wants and usually gets it.
DD3 - 10 - Twin to DD2 (younger by 4 minutes). Fraternal and could not be more UNLIKE DD2 if she tried. Shy and quiet. My listener. She is the one I don't have to have talks with about obeying the rules. She loves the fairies and Donald Duck. She is the one everyone can rely on.
My avatar picture was taken last summer at Disneyland. DD3, DD1, DD2. I have some other pictures to post of them, but have no idea how to do that.
Gosh, I ramble.
So, you now know my cast of characters, when and where we are going. DD1, DD2 and DH usually go on the roller coasters and scary rides and DD3 and I shop. We go on the tamer rides and love the shows.
I just don't know where to begin. I need a template or something.
