allowed to use dining credits for guests?

Hi,
We will have some friends joining us for some of our meals at disney world and I was wondering if we could use our dining credits to pay for them? They are not on our hotel reservations though.

Restaurants just want to be paid.

On..December 30, 2017, 4 of the man's family members were our guests on the DDxP.
Altogether, we were 5 Disney adults and 2 Disney children; we were charged for a total 14 TS credits plus extra drinks. One of the children ordered from the adult menu and we were automatically charged the service charge. This was at Boathouse. Maybe it made a difference that 4 in our party ate hamburgers..dunno.

On the DDP, QS credits are not separated by child / adult, but TS credits are separate.
