Alli for Weight Loss

A co-worker of min is thinking of trying it and asked my opinon. Since I don't have one and know it can be pricey, I thought I would ask anyone here if they tried it and how were the results?

A guy on a radio station here took it when it came out and was giving a daily detail of it. It sounded SO gross, I sure wouldn't take it!! Maybe I'd stop eating to prevent causing the effects, though!

I got in an online study group for it back when it was first released. I took it for a month or 2 and it did help me lose some weight. I never had any side effects from it, but I was also very careful about my fat intake. If you overdo it on the fat, you can have those nasty side effects. That made me wonder if it was really helping me lose weight or if I was just being so careful because I was afraid about the side effects that I really lost the weight on my own. That was why I quit taking it. It also cost quite a bit.

You will definitely have the unpleasent side effects is you exceed the recommended fat grams per meal - but honestly, that worked in my favor b/c it forced me to keep it in check and not splurge. I have no willpower AT ALL but boy, the threat of that forced me to get some. I used it a few months back and started getting good results, just fell off the bandwagon around the holidays and need to get back on.

I had no problem whatsoever as long as I kept it under 15 (I think?) grams of fat per meal. If I knew we were going out to dinner or I wanted to splurge, I just didn't take it before that meal.

I heard about that side effect from a friend of mine which is exactly why I was terrified to try it.

This is my third day on it and so far so good! I have not weighed myself, but I have not had any side effects!
I've been super paranoid and careful about how many fat grams I eat per meal though. I don't need any *accidents*

My doctor tried to get me to take this a while ago. I asked about the side effects. He told me what some of the other posters mentioned. He said I should probably take a week off from work to see how my system adjusts. I said, "So you think crapping in my pants all day sounds more appealing than being fat?" He was stunned at my reaction, but agreed it might not be the best route for me. Ya think?

you don't actually crap your pants, orange oil come out of your butt... it looks like pizza oil. but it doesn't happen if you follow the plan.. so really what Alli does is punish you for eating poorly with butt pizza oil. I didn't follow the plan.... hence how i know about butt pizza oil. I don't take it anymore lol Sorry for the TMI. Butt ( get it 2 t's) its better you find out from someone else then have a butt pizza oil attack at work or something.
