I am allergic to tree nuts. We are doing the Fantasmic dessert package next Tuesday. Does anyone know if any of the desserts in the box have nuts in them? I just wanted to know what i shoud stay away from.

I don't remember seeing anything with obvious nuts in our Fantasmic dessert boxes, but there were plenty of items that looked like they could be cross-contamination nightmares (chocolate, for instance). Also, the cheesecake had a cracker-type crust and there was a shortbread style cookie thingy, both of which would make me suspicious if I had a nut allergy.

Your best bet is to email disney dining services. Chef Bill Orton responded promptly to the allergy-related emails I sent before our trip.

I have a nut allergy and was okay eating everything. They warned me about cross contamination as usual, but I possibly lucked out for once.

I think you should be fine. If not, I guess you could request for something with no nuts. :)

Did you feel it was worth the $?

I just don't think having to wait in a long line to pick your seats would be worth it.

We did the Fantasmic Dessert a few years back and, Yes, we thought it was totally worth it. We had great seats, we did not having to sit on the ground holding a spot only to have last minute arrivals cram into our space. Had endless refills of beverages and way too much dessert than we could eat. It was a nice treat!

Just booked our tickets today for our trip in a month, and yes, I think it is totally worth it!! MY DH who is not the Disney nut I am, enjoyed it as well.

None of the seats in the reserved sections are bad, so you don't have to wait in line if you don't want to. Just show up at 8. You will have a seat regardless, and it's much better than the ground.

I second this. I was totally fine with sitting the back row, so we got in line at 8pm to pick our seats. The process went quickly and we actually got front row seats (we were doing the second show). We came back about half an hour before the show started for our dessert box and to get some hot cocoa. We chatted with our neighbors and the very nice CM who helped us. If you don't mind where you sit, you don't have to carve out a huge chunk of time to wait in line.

That being said, if I had been there for the first show, I would not have gotten a front row seat.

This has become a yearly tradition for us, love the balcony when it was open..we absolutely love F

Quick question about Fantasmic reserved seating, please! I dont care where I sit, but I do want to sit with the rest of my party. Has anyone ever showed up for seat assignments late and had to be split up?
