Allegiant Airline?

Used Allegiant for a trip to Las Vegas and found out that if you can go to the ticket counter in person to purchase your ticket at the airport you can save the $14.99 internet processing fee. Also, my son's flight schedule was changed and Allegiant attempted to email him to inform him that he needed to be at the airport at 7:00am instead of his 12:30pm flight (sameday). Needless to say he missed his flight but Allegiant's counter person got him a new flight that evening but the inconvience was that he had to stay an extra night in Las Vegas to catch an available outbound flight back home. At least he didn't miss the family reunion and they also, refunded in full the ticket for the flight he missed. So a little inconvience but he flew to R/T Las Vegas for free. They seem like a good airlines.

Loved our recent flights with Allegiant. I took 2 first graders on a nearly 3 hour flight. Did not reserve our seats, just arrived early and had no issues sitting together. Paying for luggage was a bummer, but still hundreds cheaper than Southwest. Allegiant employees really wanted everyone to make their flights, even had security stop processing to rush a young man through. That would have never happened at the Phoenix airport. We will fly Allegiant from now on.

Just be aware that round trip to/from WDW will be close to $300 including tips unless you are willing to travel about three hours each way by municipal bus.

We have always flown Allegiant to Florida because it is one of the only airlines that has a direct flight where we live. You do need to be very careful to uncheck things you don't want to pay extra for, especially the insurance. They don't call it insurance; they have a box checked with something like "Yes, I want flexibility..." next to it. If you have children under 8 you will get to board after all the reserved seating, but before the other non reserved passenger seating.
