Allegiant Air has one flight in August from MidAmerica Airport to Sanford for $29 pp.

Then in October they have one flight from Sanford to MidAmerica Airport for $29 pp.

The weird thing is that in the middle they aren't flying that route. They say it is seasonal.

This might help someone who could book the other way with SW on a good ding fare.

Allegiant airline was a bust for my last vacation. We booked for too good to be true prices and they were - they canceled the flight just when other airline costs were too high. They rebooked us at no charge on flights we would have never considered. Thanks for nothing. I'd sooner swallow poison than fly Allegiant.

Yeah I called them and they have no flights for September (which happens to be when our Disney Cruise is). Kind of sucks as their airfare for most of their flights to FL are pretty good rates. Additionally, Mid-America is ten minutes from my house and they have free parking there.

I know the previous poster stated they had a bad experience with them, however I have known many people who have flown them in/out of Mid-America with Allegiant and have had great experiences (probably doesn't help that mid-america isn't that busy and you get free parking).

Interesting. We need Sept. too, so that wouldn't work for us. We live about 10 min. from Lambert International, so we would end up paying the difference in cab fare if we went out of Mid-America, assuming a flight with Southwest or USA3000.

Unless you don't own a car, there would be no advantage to not driving your own vehicle out to Mid-America. Mid-America does not charge for parking (that will probably change eventually, but I don't see it happening any time soon -- they are too desperate for customers.)
