I figured writing this would be another way to kill time until we go :rotfl:

Cast of characters

Me Yvette, dh John, ds Joshua (currently 10 but will be 11 when we go), ds Samuel (7), ds Max (5 but will have his 6th birthday at Disneyworld!) and dd Freya who will be 3.5.

When Joshua was 2 we were in Europe and went to Disneyland Paris. Since then I have always wanted to go to the World but didn't know if it would happen. So years and years of working on my dh and we are going! We leave Australia on April 1st 2008. My eldest ds said he hoped that this wasn't a big April Fools joke and on April 1st we tell them we aren't really going :lmao:

We booked our international tickets-bye bye money-in July :) We are visiting some friends in Portland OR first then arrive in Orlando on April 7th. Then I found the DIS and have spent an obscene number of hours here over the past month ;) I was totally overwhelmed at first but finally some things started to make sense.

We are staying offsite because we will be there for 12 nights  That is all booked. We have bought the 10 day passes before the price rise and they arrived yesterday! Airfare from Portland to Orlando is booked.

We have pretty much decided to do two character meals-Crystal Palace for breakfast and Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner on different days.

I am backwards and forwards about whether to do the BBB for my DD. She is such a princess I don't know whether I should encourage this further

Max also wants to do the pirate cruise on his birthday so I will try to get that booked for 2 of the boys.

Oh and we bought our luggage and I have started to put odds and ends in there already-don't want to forget anything :rotfl:

Hi Yvette, from another Aussie!! You are well organised aren't you??:goodvibes I must admit I have had a lot of things booked in advance - makes planning from this far away so much easier!!

Glad you got your tickets, too. Mine are sitting in a safe place, just waiting to be taken out and be used!!! :rotfl2:

I look forward to reading more of your plans and thoughts. I also have ADR's for Crystal Palace for breakfast and Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner (different days too!)

Thanks for posting.
