ok, I need all of your help....me, my husband, DS (14) & DD (6) are going for 8 days the end of August and staying at CBR....we want to only go to the parks....we are not doing any waterparks & only my son is going to DQ so we are paying for that separately....where should I go for the best price & what ticket should we go with....which website it the best to go through....are there any packages, for instance with a character breakfast included....

I'm not 100% of all the different types of passes...maybe you could try the "Ultimate Hopper" passes (I think thats correct), as they are good for length of stay. But saying that I don't know if you can get one for just the parks or the cost as we have never used them as of yet.

Also as far as my knowledge goes the longest park hopper you can get is a 7 day one...are you planning to spend everyday in the parks? If not maybe that would be best. Without the plus options obv since you are paying seperate for DQ.
OR if you plan to visit Disney again with the period of a year maybe consider annual passes
Hope someone with more knowledge can give you a better understanding
Goodluck! And enjoy the holiday when you go! :D

Unfortunately, there is no such thing as an 8-day Park Hopper Pass. There is a 7-day Park Hopper Plus which has 4 Plus Options (for waterparks & Pleasure Island). There are no 7-day Park Hoppers.

The Ultimate Park Hopper (UPH) can be purchased for your length of stay if you are staying on Disney Property. They will cost $381.27 per adult and a child's UPH is $305.66 for 8days/7nights (all prices include tax). UPHs include DQ, PI and the waterparks. They expire at midnight of the day you check out.

If you are considering another visit to WDW within a year of this trip, you may want to consider purchasing annual passes (APs) for everyone. They are $392.99 per adult and $334.41 per child. The APs do not include DQ, PI or the waterparks but you will get a few perks with them including special room rates. They expire 365 days after their first day.

As far as discounts go, you probably will not find any for the UPHs or the APs unless you are a Disney Club member. Other tickets combinations (such as purchasing 2 4-day PHs for each person) will actuall run more than the cost of APs, even if you buy from a discount ticket broker like Ticketmania or MapleLeaf Tickets.

I would go with the 7-day park hopper plus and plan a "day off" to enjoy your resort. Your staying at a resort where you will have plenty to do and you could plan on the BW for the evening. There is always mini-golf and DTD (of course, these will involve extra $$$).

I've found that for our use, AAA has the best deals (but of course you're paying the annual member fee for that too!)

I would go for the regular AP and if I did not get back within 365 days then my extra investment was very small - if I do get back then I will have made a wise investment.

In Mar/03 we bought 5 day Park Hoppers thinking c'mon no way we are coming back within 365 days and sure enough we are going back in May/03 and one more time after that TBD either in late Nov/early Dec 03 or Jan/Feb 04 hence we should have bought the AP in the first place

Thanks
Jason

I see the 7 day hoppers on the paramount travel site, but I don't see anything about the free breakfast vouchers. I have heard that these come with the vouchers, but most people have had to order the passes over the phone instead of the internet. Has anyone gotten these passes over the internet and received the free breakfast vouchers? Thanks.

Go for the Regular AP...it'll give you some additional discounts, and you can plan around the year to get another trip out of it, so your park tickets will be free next time. :D

thanks for all your advice....I think I am going to get an AP for me so I can get some added discounts, especially for the hotel....then I will get the other 3 PHP 6 day passes....6 days in the parks, 1 day waterpark, 1 day nothin!.....
