All that worry for nothing...

[Wish I was in WDW]

This is my first time on the Dining Plan and I was starting to panic after hearing some horror stories on these boards regarding non- availability of certain restaurants and I was beginning to wonder if spending the extra money on the vacation to get free dining was worth it if we wouldn't be able to get any decent places. We normally stay off site and eat at Sizzler for breakfast (I know this is not exactly gourmet but we're English and this type of place is a real novelty for us!!) and then counter service in the evening. However, I called last tuesday and then each day until all 14 days had ADRs booked and here is what I got:

22nd Sept - Chef Mickey's @ 11.30
23rd Sept - Chef de France @ 6.50
24th Sept - Planet Hollywood @ 6.00
25th Sept - Sci - Fi @ 5.20
26th Sept - Kona Cafe @ 6.10
27th Sept - Prime Time Cafe @ 6.55
28th Sept - Teppan Edo @ 7.00
29th Sept - Hollywood and Vine (Fantasmic) @ 5.00
30th Sept - Le Cellier @ 7.05
1st Oct - Chef Mickey's @ 6.40
2nd Oct - Tutto Italia @ 7.00
3rd Oct - Boma @ 6.30
4th Oct - Beaches and Cream (obviously, with no ADR!)
5th Oct - Cape May Cafe @ 10.30

The only restaurant I wasn't able to get was Ohana but, to be perfectly honest, I didn't put too much effort in as I only got them to check one day and, when it wasn't available, I went for Kona instead and I'm looking forward to eating there! I'm very pleased with what I managed to get and I am SOOO excited!

I totally agree, all that worry for nothing. Congrats on your ADRs. I got everything I wanted (well, except Le Cellier, could have gotten lunch, but didn't want to change days around). I got CRT, CP, CM, 1900 Park Fare, 'Ohana dinner, and Teppan Edo. Now it's just waiting...

Congrat's on getting what you wanted. But I disagree. I was worried and I was right to be. If it wasn't for us staying as long as we were I wouldn't have gotton what I really wanted. The places I wanted we got at the end of our vacation cause the beginning were all booked up.
