We are seeing some heavy duty flooding over there, on the TV.

Wet, Wet, Wet we have had 6 1/2 inches since 9 this morning, most of it in a 3 hour period and lightning out the wazooo. The 6 1/2 inches is a lot less than some areas just west and north of here got, some got 13 inches. All the interstates are closed for flooding one person drown on I24 when the water came up fast. They were showing it on TV with one lane open and all the sudden cars were floating and within 5 mins it was up splashing over the divider. A lot of the proms were canceled around the area too. There is more comming tonight and suspose to be worse tomorrow too.

We've been away, without a computer and I've had all of my middle TN friends on my mind. Bob, it sounds like you're okay and I sure hope it stays that way. Frank and Denise, did ya'll get anything? They were calling for some heavy stuff for us last night and we got absolutely nothing. They're saying some severe stuff is supposed to come through tonight, so we'll see. DH is supposed to leave for the Atlanta area in an hour and come back home around 11:00 this evening. I have highly advised him to stay his rear end at home.

Ya'll take care and everyone keep eachother up to date.

Glad to hear ya'll are okay Denise. I have some friends (outside of the Dis) in the Nashville area that got 10" yesterday and who knows what today will bring.

My husband decided to go on with the trip to the Atlanta area with our 13 year old and some guys from our church. I'm praying they all stay safe. I'll be a nervous wreck until they walk back in the front door!!

I hope we hear from Dave and Element Camper soon. I'm still worried about them too. Can you tell I'm a worry wart?

He and the family are okay and safe. They did have to be evacuated from their home.

Thank you for the up date on East TN.
We are just south of Nashville and havent gottn the severe nasty stuff that hit Nashville, just a little moist here.

They havent said much on the TV news bout folk in West TN.All I have news was that West TN. was gettn hit hard too...?? It certainly looked bad,

Everyone hang in there,,it's gonna be gone soon.

Hey everyone. Water is still rising fast around my house. It's 8-9 inches from entering first floor. I posted some pics to my webshots per the link in my sig. They were taken this afternoon. We are safe at my inlaws now. My guess is the water will get into the first floor tonight. I will know in the morning.
