All studios have porch/balcony???

Do all studios at all DVC resorts have porch/balconies? While reviewing a WDW planning guide, it mentioned that all SSR studios had balconies, but the book didn’t state this for any other DVC resort.

Yes they do. First floor rooms have a patio. All others have a balcony.

The balconies are of varying sizes. There is one (I believe it is only one) studio at VWL that does not have a balcony. There are some one bedroom villas at a few of the resorts that do not have a balcony off the master bedroom, but there is a small one off the living room. OKW has the biggest balconies.

I know that the studio without a balcony at VWL is on the fourth floor, but I don't remember the exact number. When we were on our first trip as new members, we ran into this other couple at the DVC sales office who'd gotten the studio without a balcony on their first trip home. And we'd gotten a HA studio on our first trip home and were told we'd have to pay to switch rooms (this was when I called to complain as soon as we saw the room-no tub, etc.) This other couple was about ready to sell their membership they were so mad (and we weren't pleased either). I often wonder about the other couple and hope they changed their minds about selling and had some great future trips like we did. I wish there was a rule against giving that studio to first time members-I know such a rule would probably be impractical, but I still wish.
