I have not stayed at any of these resorts. Which would be better for a 2-3 night stay? How are the food courts, etc? Are the prices about the same? I think my kids would enjoy the theme of Pop. I would appreciate all of your input!
Thanks!

They are all basically the same, the only difficulty is telling which has the worst decor. However, one thing I particularly do not like about Pop is that to get to the food court you have to go through the store.

We like POP better. Their bus ques (sp?) are more efficient...I think the food court has basically the same items (you can check the menus here ) but has a little more variety. I also like the layout better (I like the 70's buildings...don't have to pay extra for preferred but are still close to lobby/food court and busses). My DD loves to play the twister games that are set-up in various spots around the resort plus it's a nice walk along the lake.

My vote's for POP! :flower:

That is a draw back of POP. They want you to shop too much! You have to walk thru there where at All Stars you have a choice. Kids probably would like All Stars better, POP themes are all older themes that I remember. I had fun looking at the things but DD didn't get it. She loved the ASMo however.

I think it depends on your kids. My DS6 and I stayed at the All Star Sports and he loved it because he could run a lot on the Football Field with the X's and O's to climb on. He didn't like the Pop as much because there was not a lot of space to run. We both loved the pools at both resorts though.

BTW - When we were at the Pop, I found a side door into the Food Court without having to go through the store, that door saved me a lot of "No, you can't have that's" and a lot of $$$ (The door is near the soda/condiment stations)

I like POP better. Maybe it's because I've been to ASMo 3x, ASSp 1x (not into sports, anyway), and ASMu 2x. I've only been to POP once, but will be going again in 7 weeks! :cool1:

I also like the fact that it doesn't share a bus with other resorts. The All Stars share a bus in all but the busiest times. Then they do have their own.

It's also a little different than the All Stars. A bigger safe, iron and ironing board in room (not that I plan to iron, and All Stars may have this by now), and just set up a little different. The All Stars are all basically the same, just different themes.
