all stars to mcdonalds

hi, we are booked to stay at all star music and can see on the map there is a mcdonalds nearby, but its hard to see on the map if we would be able to walk there or not, thanks for any help, susie

Yes, you can walk to the McDonalds. It is outside of the Security check point so have your room key with you when you return.

There is a sidewalk all the way to the intersection where you cross over to McD. ASSports is the closest, and considering how many miles we put on in the parks, this is a nice stroll!

We stayed at Sports and yes, the McDonalds is pretty close by. I'd say from Music it'd take about 10-15 minutes strolling.

I think you can "practice walk" it on google street view.

I did the google earth thing a few weeks ago, as staying onsite without a car I was bummed not to be able to go to a US McD ... lol (even being on the dining plan ... don't flame me )

So it comes to be 670 yards, one way, using the sidewalks, from the All Star Sports bus stop to the entrance of the McD
But if you're staying at the Movies, it's over a mile one way (bus stop to restaurant door)

edit : ok, I did 2 resorts out of 3 and didn't get the right one

from the Music (bus stop to restaurant door) it's roughly 1400 yards one way, depending on how you cut through parking lots.

I have to give my two cents about this McDonalds. We stopped by there last summer after a day at Blizzard Beach and it's not your typical McDonalds pricing. If you're going there to save money on a meal, it'll be cheaper to eat at a resort quick service. There is no value menu, no dollar items, prices are highly inflated, our family of four ate for over $30. If you are really craving McDs, then I guess it's for you, but it'll be one of the most expensive McDonlads meals you'll ever have. And they don't have all items that a typical McDs would. Granted this was last summer, things may have changed.

There is a regular McDs near Downtown Disney. Take the road east from downtown Disney and it's probably 1000 yards or so. All sidewalks the whole way, just right off Disney property, across the street at the corner of Route 535 and Hotel Plaza Blvd.

yes, that's where Crossroad is.
Crossroads is the name of that area/mall at 535&Hotel Plaza Blvd. You enter that area if you cross 535 instead of turning right towards I4 or left towards Palm Parkway when you get to the traffic lights at the end of HPB.
Lots of restaurants there (Denny's, McD, BK, Olive Garden, Sweet Tomatoes, TGI Friday, Flipper's, Fuddruckers, Taco Bell, Perkins ... and so many more
