All Star Vacation Homes

Has anyone stayed in one of these homes? I know that this is not on disney property, but we are traveling with a group of 9 people. The only places we can stay at Disney are at one of the DVC villas or possibly the family suites at All-Star Music. I would love to stay on property, due to all the extras, but these homes seem really reasonable in price and most have their own private pools.

All star is a reputable local management company that specializes in renting pool homes / villas in the Disney area. They will rent homes in many of the resorts you will read about on these boards, including Windsor Hills, Windsor Palms, Emerald Island, Indian Creek, etc, mostly homes in the Formosa Gardens area.

I have spoken several times with the owner of the company, Steve, he's a very nice guy and they are a very reputable operation, nothing to worry about there, go for it!

I also believe Allstar to be one of the better management companies in the area. They have some nice homes for rent.

We rented from All Star in Dec. 2005, and the house we rented was gorgeous and neat as a pin. I highly recommend them. Just be sure and check out the homes very carefully on the site. Since they are privately-owned, they vary pretty widely in how they are decorated and furnished. Some are very well decorated and luxurious, with quality furnishing, while others appear to be sparsely decorated, with cheap looking furnishings and decor.

Exactly like you'll find when you rent from owners! LOL You hit it on the head! This is exactly why I try and explain to people to check the websites and pictures very carefully...not all homes are the same, some are much higher end than others in terms of furniture, decorating, electronics, etc, and others are furnished with very basic furniture packages. You do tend to get what you pay for... the better quality homes tend to charge a little more, just be aware of both things when you're "shopping" on the web!

All Star is probably one of the bigger managment companies in the area.

I heard a commercial for them on ABC, here in NJ. I only saw it a few times.

You also see there vehicles in the Formosa Gardens area quite often. I am not positive,but there office may be in the Formosa Gardens shopping center.

As others have said, I do not think you can go wrong with them.

Their houses seem to be high-quality, and they will tell you precisely which home you are renting---a must in my mind anytime you rent from a management company. I don't recall reading about any bad experiences.

I find their prices to be a bit higher than one can get renting direct from an owner, but AllStar is much more convenient---one stop shopping. It's more work to rent directly. So, there is value there if you are busy or don't feel comfortable doing the legwork yourself.
