All Star Sports Renovations - Pictures?

I did a few searches on this board, but I was not able to find a post from anyone with pictures of a renovated room at All Star Sports.

From the information that I have gathered, it looks like the Home Run Hotel has been renovated and they are now working on the Touchdown section.

We will be staying at All Star Sports in early February 2008. The renovations are supposed to be done in February. I'm hoping that most of the rooms will be renovated and that we will have a good chance at getting a renovated room.

I was able to see a few pictures on AllEarsNet.com of a renovated room at All Star Music. I figure that the rooms at All Star Sports will probably look similar to the ones at All Star Music.

Anyway....I was able to view a picture of the dresser with the TV on it. It looks to have a big cabinet door that could maybe fit a fridge inside. If you have stayed in a renovated room at All Star Sports (or even All Star Music), can you tell me if they had a fridge in the room?

I was able to confirm that the dresser/TV does not have a fridge post-renovation at All Star Music, so I don't expect a fridge at All Star Sports either. I'm in a fridge swap, so I will have a fridge

Still...if anyone has any pictures to share of a renovated room at All Star Sports, I would still like to see them.

All Star Sports offers a mini-fridge for rental. They are not standard in the rooms. We were there for Thanksgiving last year and we were told if we wanted a fridge it would cost about $10 per day. We just took our ice chest and kept if filled with ice, worked fine for us!! We will be going back there August 2008. We absolutley loved ASSports!!!

We were there for Christmas in 2006 and enjoyed it as well.

I'm looking forward to staying in a renovated room as it will feel a little like a new experience.

I am participating in a fridge swap that will be free by the time it gets to me, so we will try that. We will also have an ice chest, but I was really looking for something that would freeze our bottled water for the parks each day.

Good idea about freezing the water. Being there during Thanksgiving we weren't in need of the water but the cappucino's and the hot chocolate were the best. It wouldn't have been sooo cold if the wind wasn't blowing stong. But since we will be there in August 08 that might be a good idea. We are still trying to decide if we will be staying ASSports again or Caribbean Beach Resort.

Does anybody know what kind of renovations they are doing? Are they just doing standard up keep or are they adding the suites like music has? Thanks
