Hi everyone!

My family has stayed at ASSp several times, and we know just what area to request when making ressies to be closest to the pool, main area, ect.

Now, the older DD would prefer to stay at PopC next time, but I am wondering which area to request for the best access to a pool and food court. I am talking about "poolside", not around the back. Although we are never guaranteed a specific room, the check-in people get us pretty close to what we want every time.

Any suggestions? Thanks so much!

Jana

Hi Jana49!
I'm sorry I cant help you with your question, but could I pick your brain about the ASSP?
We are planning on staying there our next trip.
Which building would be the best?
We have 2 girls ages 14-12 (when we go)
I would love to have the best location next to the pool and close to the bus stop and gift shop etc.
Thanks in advance, and I hope you can get some help on your questions.

P.S. Sorry about the first post, error.....

Your best bet for a non-preferred room would be for the 1950's area. Buildings 1 & 3, rooms 1x61-1x72 and 3x01-3x12 where x's represent floor. Those rooms will be poolside facing. Rooms 1x01-1x12, and 3x61-3x72 will face the same way, but the pool is further down. Rooms 2x01-2x12 and 2x61-2x72 will be slightly further from the food court, but also poolside.

Tyler - Thanks for the help, I truly didn't want to have to scan the entire FAQ thread!

To Disney Dreamer - I sent you a PM with info you will need for All Star Sports...

Magicinmy Heart - thanks for the map link.

Unless you can sleep like the dead, a poolside room is a mistake in my opinion. We just came back and had a room in the 70s building facing the front and heard noise until midnight each night.

The answers to 90% of peoples questions will be found on the first page of that thread. :)

Though we haven't stayed at Pop yet. we have stayed in poolside rooms at the All-Stars and have never had a problem with noise. Though my fiancé can sleep through anything, I am a very, very light sleeper and have never woken up because of noise at the All-Stars from the pool. We've usually had 3rd floor rooms so that limits the amount of people running past our door, though at Sports we were on the 1st floor, 1st room in the building (where it forms the top of the T and where everyonehas to pass to get to their room, the stairs, or the elevator) and I often heard people going past the room, but not people in the pool. We've always found that once we close our door, 95% of the noise is blocked.

Jana - I'd also like the info. on All Star Sports. It's our first time there, usually we've been at Movies. Thanks!!
