Is this food court currently closed for refurbishment or is it closing soon?

End Zone Food Court rehab dates are 8/4/13 - 12/20/13.

Anyone know if they will have a mug refill station in the temporary "Grab & Go" location in the arcade?

Our trip was booked for August 7-13 at All Star Sports. All Star Sports is supposed to still have a refill station and grab and go food during the refurbishment period. They told me this when I called the reservation line. I went ahead and rebooked to All Star Music though because I want every part of my vacation to be perfect!

We are there for one night only on Aug 2. Hopefully the FC will still be functioning at 100%

I'm was planning to stay there too--but now I'm thinking about changing to another resort. I was hoping that the refurbishment would have happened after the busy summer season. I guess I was wrong...

I've heard that the arcade is going to be used as the grab and go...and will have drink machines. My boys love AS Sports....but this is too much. My kids like to play on the football field....and we are not going to jump on a bus to get a snack late at night. As much as we love the place...we have stayed there when the football field was under renovation and when the main pool was under renovation. Never again. It's sad the Disney does not tell you and give you an option to transfer your reservations when they decide to renovate. I do understand that renovations need to be done...and they do their best to accommodate during that time, but it's really not enough. Not to compare apples to oranges, but if a deluxe had their food court shut down, then you still have options to eat. Might cost more, but the option is there. With that being said, I had a split stay booked in August with a week at AsSports and a week at the Poly. AS Sports turned into CBR....kids choice. Now I hear that the pool might close at the Poly during our trip. The Poly portion of the trip was meant to relax by the pool....and visit the parks leisurely! So might have to change another reservation! Ugh.

i called today and spoke with a supervisor.
the beverage island/refill station will be located in the arcade room.
in that room will also be the refridgerated items for the grab and go.
pastries are also to be in this temp room.

i feel your pain.
that is awful to get the double whammy.
poly and no pool is horrible!

i called today to get more information.
(i'm booked at Sports)

i did ask if i could get a discount off my room since i will be without a full food service.

i made and paid for my reservation in february.
i was not informed then of a possibility of no food court.........
grab and go doesn't cut it for me.

the supervisor told me no discounts but they could transfer me to either Music or Movies at no extra charge, fees or increase of new costs.

I booked at music today to avoid it. I did want sports but don't want to have to shuttle to eat. I'm hoping the food court at movies isn't too crazy since they are normally busy anyways.
