Ok, I want to request specific rooms at ASMo ( I know requests are not guarentees, but it doesn't hurt to ask), but I have talked to three CM's and noone can answer my questions - hoping my Disboard buds will come through for me...

1. How many stories are in each building?

2. We are looking for relatively quiet areas - which building of Love Bug (#6 or # 7) and Toy Story (#9 or #10) would you say would be quietest?

3. Do you have any other suggestions for good rooms?

If you can include specific room numbers, that would be great! A PM or post would be greatly appreciated!

1. Three floors

2. All the mommies and daddys of the little (and loud) kiddos want the Toy Story section. It is preferred and near the Fantasia pool, and the main building. Love Bug all the way. If you want preferred we have gotten Dalmations several times and love it! Wasn't that loud even on the front (it is between the two pools, not in front of them) and we like the first floor because we don't want to climb stairs or go to the middle of the building for the elevator.

3. See #2 and have fun!

ETA: I am a sensitive sleeper (the can't even sleep with DH at home type) so I wear earplugs at night, which might be why I don't hear anything but DH snoring!

I agree with the previous poster about the Love Bug section--the kids probably aren't fighting for Herbie quite as much as Buzz. :thumbsup2

I have stayed in the Dalmatian and Mighty Ducks sections, and I never had a problem in either of those. I think I've stayed on the bottom floor each time, again because then you don't have to worry about stairs and all that.

Hope this helps! :goodvibes

I've stayed at numerous buildings in the All Star Movies resort complex, including Toy Story & Fantasia (both near the pool). I didn't have a problem with noise in any of them. The outer doors are insulated metal so they muffle any exterior sound well.

However, if you don't want children running around, then request Love Bug.

I stayed at Herbie bldg. #6 room #6931 last April. It was on the 3rd floor facing the parking lot/garden courtyard. It was a great, quiet location and gave us great access to our car which we could see from the outside balcony. The Herbie water play area was on the opposite side of the building which was easy to get to. About a five minute walk past the Fantasia buildings to the main pool (Wizard Mickey pool) are and food court where most of the noise/activities were. The mousekeepers were fabulous too during our stay and left us thank you notes (we left them money daily lol) and multiple towel animals that my kids (6 & 9) just loved coming back to to the room every day to see what they made for us. In fact they made like little scenes too with the animals like they were playing and waiting for us to get back home to the room lol. Overall a great location and quiet place at night. The only action I saw there all week was the pizza delivery guy going around in the golf cart. I highly recommend this area for peace and quite and still not being that far away from the main area.
