I was wondering if anyone had any recent experiences taking the Disney Buses to/from the All-Star resorts? We aren't going to have a car onsite and I'm hoping I'm not going to regret it! We are staying at All-Star Movies if that makes any difference. Just looking for some recent experiences so I can manage my expectations.

I've been at an All Star three times in the past 6 months - including 3 weeks ago.

Buses - same as always! They come regularly as one would expect. Not once during my stays did they ever share a bus and I rode mid-day several times when traffic is lightest. They bring the extra long buses sometimes when they know its going to be peak time. If you just miss a bus - it can feel like a long wait - but that is true at ANY resort.

ONE time - I got frustrated seeing 3 Sports pick up at EP in a row - the drivers were clearly off schedule
and bunched up. But again, that can happen at any resort.

The only hard part about the All Star buses - they are always the longest walk from the park to the bus stop at the end of the day.

But otherwise - I really don't think the All Stars have worse frequency of service than the mods or deluxe hotels.

We were at Music from Aug. 14-18 and we never shared busses leaving the resort or returning from the parks or Disney Springs. This was for early a.m, mid-day and late p.m. For the most part the busses followed the posted scheduled times give or take a minute or two.

I love that people follow the cue at the values and wait in line as they arrive. We took the bus from the Poly for Disney Springs and it was a free for all.

We stayed at Movies from Aug 24-27. No issues with the busses. The only park ticket we had was MNSSHP, but we took the busses a few other times for dinner reservations at Cape May and Sanaa. On our Cape May morning we inadvertently took the bus to Hollywood studios with everyone headed there for early entry, so that bus was pretty packed, but there was absolutely no one at the Skyliner Station!

I stayed in August a few weeks ago for 8 days at All Stars Movies. The bus service was quite good. Never waited more than 15 minutes. I used the busses to get to the 4 parks and Disney Springs different times of day a the service was always good. Never crowded.

We stayed last week at Movies. Good service most of the time, the exception being a late departure for DHS, Tuesday 12th when the lines were somewhat long. We got some extra buses, so it got solved quickly.
Be aware, though, that the lines are in the open, and the Florida sun (and heat!!) can be brutal...

Stayed at All Star Music over Labor Day weekend. Busses were some of the best we have ever experienced. We never shared. We also never had to wait long for a bus either to or from the parks.

Had 4 nights in All Star Sports a couple of weeks ago. Buses were excellent and as good as I've ever had at a Disney resort (seemed to have excellent luck with Disney transportation in general this trip).

One time I just missed the All Star Sports bus at MK (I think, as the line was empty) so just took the All Star Music bus and walked back to my room from ASMu.

I was at Movies last month. Although a few times we did wait a while for a bus back to the resort from the parks a few times (while moderate/deluxe buses seemed much more frequent) I would much prefer waiting a few minutes for the bus than the hassle of parking. Once I couldn't wait in the heat any longer so jumped on the Music bus instead.
