All Star Bus service

I went a couple of pages and didn't see anything about this so here is my question:

Do the all Star Resorts share a bus to the parks? Always? Sometimes?

I have stayed at them but it's been a few years

They do share. But your follow-up questions, I can't recall. I remember being at ASSports and stopping at other AS resorts. I think much of it depended on demand. We didn't always share with the others.

I've not stayed at any of the All Star resorts, but from what I saw they sometimes share (Especially the slower months and times) and sometimes they don't.

Depending on when you go in the year, I'd probably go on the assumption you will usually share.

Found this...

Getting to the theme parks, water parks and Downtown Disney Disney provides free bus service from All Star Movies to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, and Downtown Disney/Disney Springs. All Star Movies' bus stops sit along the front wall of the Cinema Hall lobby, between the lobby and check-in parking lot. Each theme park has its own bus stop somewhere along the wall. Animal Kingdom's bus service is shared with Blizzard Beach, while Downtown Disney/Disney Springs and Typhoon Lagoon also share a stop and service. All Star Movies shares bus service with All Star Sports and All Star Music. This can be troublesome during a busy time of year because All Star Movies is the third of three stops. We have frequently seen mostly full buses arrive at All Star Movies because they have already been stuffed with people at All Star Sports and All Star Music.

I stayed at sports last year and we did not share a bus . It was in February and was a busy week because it was Mardi Gras - not sure if this made a difference .

We stayed at All Star Music last September and we only shared a bus twice. We thought the bus service was great.

They only share during the quiet times. During the morning and at night they each have their own. Downtown Disney is the only place I have encountered problems. Long waits crowded buses. I have had more problems getting a seat on the bus at POP.

I've stayed at the All Stars many times, and they rarely share a bus. And when they do, it isn't the big deal so many people make it out to be. The All Stars are all right next door to each other so it is more like one large resort with 3 bus stops. It takes maybe 5 minutes to pick up at all of them.

ALL resorts share buses from time to time doesn't just happen at the All Star resorts. We like ASMo and it is very rare that buses are shared. When they are it is because there are so few people riding them to and from the parks so it is no big deal.

We just got back from All Star Sports. The buses were only shared a couple of times, and never at busy times. The nice thing about Spirts is that it is the first stop for pick up and drop off.

On the last day of our trip, DD and I had gone to AK for early entry at 8:00 just to do her favorites there one last time. We were ready to head back to the resort by 9:30, and when we got to the bus stop an ASMovies bus was there. I asked the driver if he stopped at Sports also, and he said no. After a couple of minutes with nobody showing up to go to Movies, the driver said " come aboard. I'll drop you off at Sports"!:)

I always find it so funny that the POP fans point to this as a reason not to stay at the All Stars. We've stayed at Sports, Movies, and Pop and found Pop to be the worst of the lot. Yes, they don't share buses with other resorts. But they have twice as many people there as the others! So you've got tons of people waiting on those buses. The lines waiting for the Pop buses at park closing time are always insane.

The AS buses will never be shared at park open or close. Sometimes mid-day or at really slow times, you'll stop at all three. But it is the exception rather than the rule!

I've stayed at two of the AS (sports and musicX2). Sharing is done only a few times. Usually middle of the day when less people are moving between parks and resorts. But the resorts are right there together so stoping at all three resorts takes just a few minutes each, not a significant addition of time.

I stayed at AoA and the buses were horrible. The whole resort trying to get on at 1 bus stop and the buses were super crowded.

I've never had that problem at the Allstars. The are smaller resorts so the crowds are spread out and half the time you don't share so the buses are much more manageable.

(I've also stayed Mod and Deluxe and the worst buses of all.....The DELUXE) They share often and they are far apart so takes a lot of time to hit all the stops.

I stayed at ASMu in Feb. and the busses were usually shared when I went anywhere. First stop is Sports, then Music, then Movies. It was a problem just once. At busy times each resort gets its own bus. The only time my bus was crowded was on EE day at the MK when I went mid-morning, -- the bus was full when it arrived, and the Music people had to stand.

I stayed at ASMo last year and we sometimes shared buses during non busy times. It wasn't an issue at all.
