Anyone else stay up all night before leaving for the World?

My husband & I run our own business & we received a bunch of orders & repairs at the last minute, so we have spent all night working AND packing. We leave in two hours!!! Thank God we are flying & not driving!

Of course, all this work reminds me of why we are taking this vacation.

I wish I spent the night packing for WDW rather than vaccuming water out of my basement

Try to forget about your business and not be on the cell phone all the time.

We usually drive to Florida all night.....and then sleep for a little while in the morning after we get there. This works great for us because I couldn't sleep (due to anticipation) anyway. Best part is that there are rarely traffic problems! I will say this is a lot more fun than working or vacuuming water out of a basement! Sorry about you guys bad luck!

i always find vacations being much more worth it after a series of brutal months at school. it gives me time to escape every single sort of worry known to man. have fun!!!! be safe!!!! get your sleeping schedule back on track!!!

You will have a GREAT time..just nap when you can and make the first night an easy one!

I very rarely sleep the night before I fly anyway! The excitement gets you going the minute you hear the music!

There was one trip to disney when we lost our power the night before. It was during a heat wave in August and was about 90 degrees at night. We couldn't sleep so we decided to drive about a half hour to my sister's house. This was around midnight. We had to leave for the airport at 4am. So I didn't sleep at all. The day we got down there, it was e-ride night. My whole family took naps but I was too revved up and overtired to sleep so somehow I made it to 2am. Then we got up at 7 for an 8am ressie at Cindy's. Somehow I got through it and would do it all over again if I had to.
