A view from my favorite restaurant at WDW... The Rose & Crown. It's our tradition to try and sit on the patio, eat dinner and stay for fireworks. Highly recommend it. The views are amazing.

That's a great idea! I think I'll try to do that next time too!

When do Christmas decoations come down?

from what i've read they come down at various times the first week or two in january. i know they stopped doing the osborne lights, etc. on 1/4.

First, right click on the photo you want to link to, and then go to properties. Copy and paste the URL (or in my case, I used the URL to the post itself). When posting, to insert the link, you type in the text you want to use as the link, then highlight the text and press the button that has a earth icon. Then paste in the URL for the photo in the pop-up box. HTH.

YUM! Last year, Ghirardelli was closed during our trip, when DH saw the temporary walls around it he was so dissappointed. He said if he would have known, he would have rescheduled our trip!

True. And we were at the Magic Kingdom last night, and although the Christmas tree was still up and lit on Main Street, the "ice lights" on the castle were not lit.

The tree was removed from Hollywood Studios a couple of days ago, and we were at Epcot Tuesday night and they had started to remove the decorations there.

We were at the Grand Floridian on January 2nd and the only remnant of Christmas decorations that we saw in the lobby was the gingerbread house.
