Friday POTD:

Thanks declansdad for your compliment on my FotLK shot!

Friday PotD, taken on a very muggy night last month after our Boma dinner (mmmm Zebra Domes!!!). I didn't have time to wait for my lens to warm up to stop fogging so I was wiping and shooting, wiping and shooting. Still got some fog flare but I think it looks kinda cool other than the condensation covered windows...

That very quiet path between Toontown and Tomorrowland in MK (and this was in a very busy part of August)...

hjdo411 - I like your pic of the Disney transportation, especially how you got both the monorial and a bus in the same shot. Very nice! :thumbsup2

oh my goodness! where is this? i love Peter Pan, and i feel like Disney doesn't utilize him enough. they focus too much on Tink.

If you'd like to meet Peter, he has meet & greets near Pirates of the Caribbean. :thumbsup2 pirate:

Code - Amazing! :wizard: That pic makes me feel like I'm right there in the picture. Where is it?

Have a magical weekend, everyone! :smickey:

This shot is amazing. I love it!

I too had hoped to take night pictures at AK, until my DH informed me he lost my tripod on Dinosaur!!! UGH! Men!
Thank you :goodvibes How in the world did he lose your tripod on that ride? Was he fighting the dinosaurs?:crazy2: I hope it was a mini-tripod!

Merryweather, that is an AMAZING shot!!! Please share your secrets!! I finally got the digital SLR I've wanted, and now I desperately want to learn how to do what you did on that photo!!!!
Thank you, and congratulations on your new DSLR!! :woohoo: . To answer your question, the first thing you need is a tripod or a stable surface to place your camera on because you need a longer shutter speed when it is darker. I also used a remote shutter release (mine is just the simple cable kind - not the fancy remote-contolled thingys that some people have). This helps to prevent any camera shaking/blurring from pressing the button. My settings for this shot were aperture f/4, ISO 1600, shutter speed 1 sec, taken at 27mm. I also took some shots about 5 minutes later when it was slightly darker, and those settings were f/10, ISO 800, 8 sec, 32mm. I hope this helps. Usually it is just trial and error for me - thank goodness for LCD screens and the delete button :rotfl2: !
