Thank you :goodvibes How in the world did he lose your tripod on that ride? Was he fighting the dinosaurs?:crazy2: I hope it was a mini-tripod!

One for today...

Another amazing night shot!!!! :goodvibes

Oh my gosh! Listen to this.....in the middle of the ride, my sons and I saw my husband hanging on with one hand and feeling around ON THE FLOOR with the other hand!

He looked at me and said, "I think I just lost your tripod."

"WHAT?!"

Needlesstosay, I could not enjoy the rest of the ride because I was  !!!

When we got back to unload, the CM immediately said, "Folks, what is wrong?"

When we told him, without hesitation he said, "It's probably on the tracks. It will be up front at Guest Relations at 8:30 or 8:45."

So...since the Park closed at 8, there went all my night shots!!!

I was SO mad! Instead of putting it in the bag or holding onto the strap on the tripod bag, he just laid it on the floor...and of course, there are no sides on the cars in Dinosaur, so it just flew right out!!!

..and no, it was NOT a minitripod. It was a brand-new, full-size tripod I had bought specifically for this trip!

So, you see...now, I have to GO BACK to Disney to take night pictures!!! :thumbsup2 So, what started out as a bad situation, ended up as a good thing! :rotfl:

Here is mine for today. All the kids loved THIS when it came out!

Clicking on the picture will take you to its flickr page, where you can see more of my WDW shots, access the EXIF data of this shot, etc.

WOW! These are the most amazing shots I have ever seen! I watched them twice around. My 11 year old joined in the second time. They are just gorgeous. What talent and gifts you have. Thank you! You helped make my day.:worship:

 Oh, I feel bad for you because it's hard to get night shots at AK, but it really is a funny story  . This sounds exactly like something that would happen with my family!!

I would have thought that they'd be more concerned about getting it off the tracks for the cars behind you  . That ride is pretty bumpy...what's one more?!? :rotfl2:

Anyway, I like your justification for another trip :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 . Sounds good to me!

PS - did you get it back? Did it get run over? :rolleyes1

That is a great picture of Snow White. Reminds of one Barrie did and had made into postcards. Great shot!

As for the tripod, I thought the very same thing, "It's on the track??" :scared1: "WHAT?"

But, he must have meant that it was just "in there" somewhere, and he said it with such "ho hum-ness," that I figured it must happen all the time.

He didn't even blink a eye!

We did get it back. I left the Park a little after 8, and it had not got up to the front yet, but my husband left a little while after me, and it was up there, so he showed up to dinner at the Poly with it in hand!!!

Not a scratch on it! LUCKY for him!!!
