Little explination about the penguine in the pic. it's a family joke that this penguine has been on more trips then anyone else - everyone takes it and photographs it in different places.

Another pic from 1995... this is from the upstairs employee lounge at World of Motion. Shot through pretty dark glass so it's hard to get really good color.

I have one similar to that, but from the Test Track, and you don't get any of UoE

Joe your pics are always fantastic! Do they come out of your camera that way or do you do a lot of enhancing? I'd like to beleive you are just that great to have them come out that way....they are just so incredibly sharp & crisp! I strive for your pics!

First thanks for the compliment... I really appreciate it. I wish I could say the pictures come straight off the camera this way. I mean, the D40 (and now D300) make great pictures, but I like to shoot in RAW so that I can better control over color balance and shadows and highlights. That's what's great about digital. When we took pictures with film, sometimes you'd get the pictures back and look at them and think - that's a nice picture but it'd be better if ________. Now we have the ability to fix those little blemishes.

So yeah, in a nutshell, I at least make tonal / color adjustments in all but a few of my pictures posted here. Some more "photoshopped" than others ;^)

It was taken at Disney's Candy Cauldron in Downtown Disney. You may not recognize it because the background is blacked out and the tones are turned to a purplish color... thanks!
