Good morning everyone... thanks for the compliments on the Main Street picture.

@ Ed - wow, I don't know what to say. That might be the best compliment I've ever had on a picture! I appreciate it - really.

I've been on these boards for months but never went into the POTD thred because I figured it would just be your typical touristy shots...but these are amazing!

I know you guys have lots of talent and that's the biggest factor in taking these great pics but as someone who would love to be able to take great photos, I'd love to know what camera you all use:

A NY Outlaw.... You did catch a cool effect with your 'bright' picture.. it looks like the sky is blank, but you can see the clouds through the panels.. how neat!!

Currently Nikon equipment as shown in my sig below. At the time of our last WDW visit, I had only the D50 and the lenses shown. Let me hasten to add that there is a LOT more to it than just having a certain brand/model of camera, and I'm still very much a learner and nowhere near being able to take full advantage of the capabilities of the camera gear I have.

There are some STUNNING pictures posted here everyday, made by folks with much less capable (and much less expensive) cameras. A lot of it is just having an eye for what makes an impressive photo, and a lot of it is practice, practice, practice (and the ability with digital of shooting tons of shots in order to cull out a handful of keepers, which is my personal modus operandi).
