Beanie........yup, the Browns won 24-14!! It was awesome. Yeah, our seats were in the Dawg Pound! It was so much fun!! I would definitely want to sit there again!
The best part about it........the tix and parking pass were FREE!! A friend of mine won them, and gave them to us!

Mathison: I'm Not Out Yet

Cameron Mathison (Ryan Lavery) has broken his silence regarding a recent magazine headline that announced that he had decided to quit his role on All My Children.

On his official web site, Mathison addressed the reports, saying that they are "totally and completely not true." The actor confirms that he is in contract talks, but declined to state exactly where the talks are at. "I could re-sign, I could not, or I could just take a little break for a while... I really have no idea."

It appears that the rumors of his departure started when Mathison's name was dropped from the list of soap stars that would be attending ABC's annual Super Soap Weekend in Florida. His name has since be re-added.

At the AMC Fan Luncheon held in Manhattan, Mathison told fans that he did not want to leave AMC. However, Mathison also dropped hints that there were still a few wrinkles that had not been ironed out during the contract talks. Among these wrinkles, says an insider, is Mathison's desire to work on projects other than AMC.

Here are the spoilers for this week....better late than never!


Ryan tells Mia that his father used to call him "Buddy" while he was beating him.

Ryan receives a call that his mother has passed away and races away on his motorcycle only to hit Erica's limousine and keep going.

Gillian realizes her "task" is to unite Ryan and Chris who both have an aversion to being called "Buddy".

Gillian once again takes over Opal's body and is disappointed when the meeting of Ryan and Chris shows no recognition by either party nor a bonding.

Chris is later shocked when he sees a picture of Ryan's parents.

Chris avoids questions by Erica about his children and past.

Erica finds out about Leo and Greenlee's bet and decides to intervene.

Bianca assures her mother she no longer has feelings for Laura.

Laura lashes out at Leo and puts her health at risk.

Laura enlists Jake's help with her dilemma.

Anna recognizes Chris again and he doesn't deny they know each other.

Adam gets ahold of a piece of Mia's hair so a DNA test can be performed.

Leo, Laura, and Greenlee are all in for a big shock when they see Enchantment's new ad campaign.

Brooke gives her son-in-law a warning.

Hayley has fears she will be a terrible mother like her own mother was.

Mateo continues to receive cryptic phone calls and one at the baby's christening asks him to filter drugs through SOS and makes references to his sister, Rosa.

Mateo confers with Chris about the calls but the FBI agent doesn't feel there is a problem.

Greenlee's new sleuthing hobby borders on stalking.

Hi Everyone,

As always, Christine, I exercised self restraint and didn't look at the spoilers! So glad to hear that Cameron may not be leaving AMC - I would miss him, too! I liked the scenes with Ryan, Hayley and the baby, yesterday. And I even liked the scenes with Ryan and Mia (believe it or not - I never thought that I would say that!)! What do you think the connection between Ryan and Chris is? I sincerely doubt that Chris is Ryan's father....maybe one of his brothers? Or an uncle?? What was with that facial expression that Laura had during 95% of her scenes, yesterday?? That's one of her 2 facial expressions that I was mentioning earlier - that is the "mouth hanging open in dismay / disbelief" expression, I guess! And why is Jake taking David's calls when he has been "working with him" for all of 2 minutes?! Jake hadn't even left SOS yet, after accepting David's offer, and all of a sudden he's taking his calls?! And what's with Gabriel's interest in medicine, all of a sudden?

IASW Rider - LOL about your observations on Laura's facial expressions . I kept waiting for Leo to ask Laura if she was trying to catch flies. Missing meds is obviously affecting her brain too. Her behavior was so lame - digging in the dirt and telling Jake she "lost" her pills! Why couldn't she just say she dropped her pills in the sink and needed more. Can you say plot device?

And, hey - are you going soft on me now?! You liked Mia yesterday?!?! I never thought I would hear that! LOL! I guess she is beginning to show her soft side. I just wish she had started showing it sooner. I'm having a hard time paying attention to her recent scenes. I can't get past the hair! I'm also having a hard time buying Gillian pushing Mia towards Ryan.

I was stunned with the Chris/Ryan inference on yesterday's show. The thought had never crossed my mind that Chris could be Ryan's father. I don't want Chris to be a child beater! Maybe they're going to pull out Edmund's childhood history again and make the guy that Ryan grew up thinking was his father not be his father after all and Chris is his real dad. You just can't use that storyline often enough.

I am enjoying Erica and Greenlee. Erica is playing her like a fiddle. I enjoy watching Erica in action and Greenlee makes a great nemesis.

Can't wait to see Chris' explanation to Erica of what he and Anna were doing in Erica's limo. LOL! It should be good!

Will Jake ever leave SOS?

Jake had better leave SOS or else he'll never be prepared for his 9:00AM meeting with David, at which time he had to have completely read that huge manuscript that David gave him! Watch Jake and Greenlee pull an "all nighter", doing both of their projects which are due at "9:00AM tomorrow morning", give up in the middle to make mad, passionate love......then both oversleep in the morning and miss their respective appointments!

OK - I didn't REALLY like those scenes with Mia - but they are better than the previous ones where she was trying to act all tough for no reason! I also can't get past her hair - and the Farrah Fawcett style! And I also can't believe that Gillian is pushing Mia towards Ryan, all of a sudden - when Gillian first saw Mia, she whined to Jesse that she DIDN'T want Ryan with her! And they never showed us what Gillian thought of Ryan with Liza! Or is that all over, now? I was sure that they were going to pursue the "sibling rivalry" storyline.

You're right, Aprille58 - maybe the person whom Ryan always thought was his father really wasn't, and Chris really IS! And maybe Chris knows about that "buddy" thing somehow, and how it's associated with the person whom Ryan thought was his father. The only reason that it occurred to me is because right after Ryan told Mia that that's why being called "buddy" bothered him, they immediately switched scenes and showed Chris. And will they both have a connection with Duke Lavery, of Anna's past? Remember how right before Dimitri left the show, he got a call about someone named "Duke" and said "what does this have to do with Ryan Lavery?", or something like that????

I guess we'll have to wait and see!

I also like the scenes with Erica and Greenlee. But I wonder why she wants to throw Greenlee and Leo together, when she was willing to send Greenlee out of the country to get her away from Leo, just a few weeks ago?????

Ah, yes - the "Duke" reference before Dimitri and Alex departed. Just one more reason I don't like Anna. I hate these crossover characters from one soap to another. I only watch AMC and I don't want to have to learn some convoluted backstory on a character from another soap. The writers at AMC can't even keep up with backstories on characters who originated on AMC!

I don't really get why Erica is throwing Leo and Greenlee together either. Today's show tried to reveal a little more about that but I still don't quite get it. Erica did check that Bianca isn't still pining after Laura before she puts her plan into motion. After today's show I think that Erica's main motive is Enchantment's bottom line but maybe I'm misreading it.

LOL! Mia and her Farrah Fawcett hair! That on top of the color is just way too distracting!

Hey ladies!!

IASW - glad that you could resist the spoilers.

I have to admit that I watched only parts of the show the last couple of days. I did see the scene with Ryan and Haley with the Baby, I felt so bad for him. I did see Gillian pushing Mia to Ryan and then I shut the TV off in disgust. No way do I wnat to see them 2 together!!! I went and did the dishes instead, is that wrong of me?

I don't blame you for fleeing to the kitchen to do the dishes at the thought of Ryan and Mia together, Christine! It IS a pretty disturbing thought.....though one that I fear we'll have to get used to - especially now that Gillian seems to APPROVE of this coupling!

I also hate the "crossover" characters and storylines, Aprille58 - and I agree - the writers have a hard enough time with the consistency of the back stories of the AMC characters to mess with those from other shows, as well! I really hope that they don't pursue this story line with Anna wanting to be a spy again and working with Chris. Can't she go be a spy in Port Charles, or something? I think it's pretty obvious that you were absolutely right, Aprille58 - Chris is Ryan's REAL father, as opposed to the person who beat him whom Ryan grew up believing was his father.

Looking forward to seeing how Laura covers her tracks with the pills to Leo, today, and what Greenlee does with the information she overhears about that while Jake is talking to her on his cell phone!

Well today was umm interseting. I loved the looks that Hayley was giving to Mateo after he finished his phone call.

I saw yesterdays show, but missed today...did anything happen with Opal/Gilllian?? I saw yesterday that she stole a motorcycle and a limo...I never laughed so hard at the thought of Gillian on a bike!! ROTF!!

Hi Beanie - here is a brief synopsis of yesterday's episode:

- Chris and Ryan meet at the PV police station, as each is looking for his "stolen" vehicle. They speak for a few moments - Ryan is pretty rude to Chris, 'cause he just wants to get out of there. Then Ryan gets a call on his cell phone (we don't know from whom) and learns that his mother has just died of lung cancer. Chris feels bad for Ryan and asks him if he wants to go for a beer and talk, but Ryan says "no". Chris follows him to the Pine Cone Motel (Ryan told him he was staying there), and finds that his limo is miraculously there (all the while, Gillian is "cheering" on the sidelines about having gotten Chris and Ryan together, and Jesse is rolling his eyes, as usual). Chris finds Ryan looking at a picture of his parents. It's pretty clear that the man in the picture is a younger Chris. Chris looks at the picture thoughtfully (maybe he was brainwashed when he became a spy, and lost his memory like Anna and Alex????). In the coming attractions for today, we see Chris yelling at Ryan "no, Ryan!!" when Ryan tries to throw the picture away.

- Laura goes to see Jake at the hospital, to get her new prescription. Jake insists on examining her, even though she just wants to get out of there, quickly. Of course, Greenlee is lurking just outside the door, listening to the entire conversation. Jake eventually gives Laura the prescription, but tells her that because she was not due for a refill, her insurance wouldn't cover it. She says that that's all right - she'll pay cash. And she reminds Jake not to tell Leo that she was there. Greenlee has a sneaky look on her face and says something like "what is that whiny witch up to, now?" After Laura leaves, Greenlee sneaks into the examining room and looks at Laura's medical chart.....until Jake comes up behind her and rips it out of her hand and tells her to get lost.

- In the mean time, Brooke and Leo are having lunch in the park. Leo tells Brooke that Laura has too much time on her hands and is therefore obsessing about him and their marriage. He shows Brooke a journal entry which Laura had made the night before, about her experience in the hospital. They both decide that it is so good that Laura should start a "Dear Aggie"-like column in "Tempo" (?????!!!!!) After Brooke leaves, Laura finds Leo in the park and he tells her that she will be working for "Tempo", and Laura is thrilled that they will be together "24/7" (GAG ME). As they are making out in celebration, Greenlee spots them and gives them an evil look.

- Just before the baby's Christening (we still don't know his name - I think we'll find out, today) at the Wildwind chapel, Mateo gets a package filled with cash and a note saying "for your son's future" and "leave your cell phone on". Right in the middle of the ceremony, Mateo's cell phone rings and he runs out of the chapel to answer it (Hayley was pissed!). It's that weird male voice, asking if he got the package and saying something about a "product" that he wants from Mateo's club (or something like that). Mateo is upset and puzzled, and returns to the even more upset and puzzled crowd in the chapel. They finish the ceremony and Hayley chastises Mateo for taking the call. Just as they are all about to leave and celebrate in SOS, Mateo gets another call. Hayley doesn't understand what's going on (neither do I, frankly! I don't think it has to do with Arlene.). This time, Mateo tells the voice to "go to hell!" and the voice tells Mateo that Rosa looked really nice in the dress she was wearing, leading Mateo to believe that the person is close by. He runs out of the chapel after Rosa. (who IS the voice??? Someone associated with the drug dealers? Roger Smythe? Marcus's father?)

That's all, for yesterday!
